WEDDING SCHEDULE TOP TIP❣️
✨ You’re going to want to listen to this if you want to make sure your wedding schedule is accurate!
⏰ One of the things that people can often overlook is allowing sufficient time for your guests to take their seats. It does take a little bit of time for guests to check the seating plan, find their seats and people faff, whether it’s hugging or chatting to people or needing the loo. We recommend allowing 20 minutes for this section of the day (for up to 150 guests).
✨ It really helps having someone manage this section of the day and our Front of House Manager is always happy to help.

📸Confetti shots - the saga.

✨A couple top tips for nailing your confetti shots…
Walk slowly, even if it feels a bit weird! It will give your photographer time to take better snaps and make sure you’ve got these moments to cherish forever.
2, Make sure you’re not looking down the whole time, think ‘look ahead’ or ‘look up’.
3. Stop at a few points to get some kissing shots! Stop at the beginning, middle and end if you can.

❣️Are you wondering when is the best time to cut your cake? And how to ensure there’s no awkwardness?
⭐️🕰️Our favourite time to schedule the cake cutting is just before the first dance. It works perfectly as you can jump straight into the first dance without the need to round up your guests again. We’ve also got another top tip to ensure a super smooth transition!
🧁Have your cake cutting somewhere that is right near to the dance floor or where there is a short and direct path. 💃🏻
✨🕺🏻Whether this is on a table that can be quickly moved or on a table at the side of the bar/dancefloor, it means you can jump straight into the first dance without any awkward pauses or shuffling..
🎵Get your band or DJ to play your first dance song as soon as you’ve finished cutting the cake and then make your way to the dance floor with some excitement and get the party going.

✨Drinks receptions are the BOMB. But have you been stressing over how long to allocate for them?
🍸There’s always such an exciting buzz in the air and it’s such a wonderful time to say hello to all your guests, catch up and bask in the *sunshine*.
⭐️Our golden rule for drinks reception is to allocate 1.5 hours. Enough time to indulge in a few drinks and canapes without leaving your guests waiting too long before the wedding breakfast. It also takes a good 15-30 minutes to get your guests seated before the wedding breakfast. So 1.5 helps to support this without your guests getting too hungry (and maybe tipsy!).

And we want to help you! Here are some of the best questions to ask a prospective caterer.
1. Have you worked at the venue before? It’s always handy to find out if they already know the space!
2. Is your price inclusive of all kitchen equipment? Due to the nature of weddings and events, a lot of kitchen equipment and crockery are sub-hired, so it’s important to check what’s included in the quote. We’re unique, as we provide one price that is inclusive of everything!
3. Do you handle the laying up? This is a big part of the set-up and some caterers include this while others don’t, so it’s essential to know.
4. What are your most popular dishes? Because it’s always great to get recommendations.
5. Is your menu adaptable? A great question to ask if you want to add your own personal spin on your wedding catering.

🌟The one question we always get asked is - 'how long do you need for the wedding breakfast?'
❣️We recommend 2.5 hours for a three-course meal, but this can vary depending on your guest numbers and the number of staff serving. Additional time will need to be allocated for speeches or if you're planning to make a grand entrance as newlyweds (it always takes a little while to get all your guests seated!) - so make sure you factor this into your wedding schedule.
⏰We offer all of our couples expert and bespoke advice on their schedules and work with them to ensure everything is perfect.
