Good morning all!

Apologies about the lack of posts on here - we have been focusing heavily on pushing our Discord and Twitter lately, that being said we are very excited to say that signups for No Man's Land 2 are going exceptionally well.

With two weeks to go for signups we have already exceeded any other event of this type in the Highlands, this is the largest event of this kind Inverness has had.
There is still plenty of time to get involved - find out more in the links below.

We also want to say a huge thank you to the Inverness Computer Centre who are giving us a hand by supplying monitors for the event - things wouldn't be able to run as smooth without their support. Please check them out if you are in need of any IT support!

Howdy all,

Been a big slow down on the amount of advertisement and time being spent on keeping our socials updated, with this being a hobby for us we try and squeeze things in where we can.

I can say though we are incredibly active, with our weekly happening every Monday in the Caledonian Pub. We are also heavily active in our Discord which I will link below.

With Street Fighter 6 dropping at the start of June, we are hosting a league spanning the entirety of June.
This is open for anyone, new or experienced in the genre. It's a great time to get involved as we have lots of new faces picking up the game and looking to learn.

There will be a prize pool for the top 3 players, a custom trophy for the winner at the end of the month and an award for the person that has improved the most throughout the course of the event!

Amazing turnout for Fatal Finale yesterday!

Big thanks to everyone that turned up, also a HUGE shout-out to Suley who took home the belt & Jovi show travelled all the way from Wales to win the Guilty Gear event!

Once again, this is just the beginning for these style of events, we will be running more soon!

Morning campers, great turn out last night for Caledonian Clash!

We had both Smash Ultimate and Street Fighter V running last night with a great showing on both!

Quick update on what we have running this week though, Saturday is the big one, Fatal Finale. Good few people travelling up for this event so would be great to get some more local representation. We are also running a free to play Wi-Fi bracket for Guilty Gear Strive tomorrow night. If this is something you are interested in, feel free to join the Discord.

Monday again? Already?

All that means is that tonight is Caledonian Clash!

We will be running tournaments for both Street Fighter V and Super Smash Bros Ultimate tonight, but as usual, plenty of setups for different games on the go for people to get involved in!

Now is a great time to get involved, whether you have experience or not, Street Fighter 6 is just around the corner and its looking to be an amazing time. We will be holding Street Fighter 6 tournaments all throughout June, so make sure you get involved!

Apologies for the lack of posts over the past few days!

We had a great turnout again on Monday for the weekly so a big thank you to everyone that turned up! This coming Monday we are going to be running both a Street Fighter V bracket & a Super Smash Bros Ultimate bracket. Great time to get involved if you are interested in either of these games 😀

We also eek closer to the release of Street Fighter 6, and of course our awesome SF6 League we will be running throughout June. Which will hopefully help everyone, new or old, learn the game! And if you think you are in for a chance of winning, well we have something for you to play for! Introducing our shiny new trophy for the winner of the league.

With Street Fighter 6 just around the corner, we are excited to announce that we will be hosting a league throughout the entirety of June.

Every Monday of June we will be running Street Fighter 6 tournaments within the Caledonian Bar, throughout these weeklies you will have the chance to earn points based on performance.

At the end of the Month, the player with the most points will walk away as the first Street Fighter 6 Champion for The Highlands, along with a trophy and % of a prize pot.

This is a really great time to get involved, with lots of new players coming out of the woodwork for this brand new game game! Whether you have been playing fighting games for years, or are just considering picking up the new games, pop down, I promise you will have a blast.

Somehow it slipped my mind to post the top 8 from Monday night!

So here we go! Big shout out to Jayke who managed to steal the win over Saynai in the finals! Everyone played exceptionally well, and like usual was great seeing so many new faces.

Next week will be a casual friendlies week, with no main bracket happening so make sure you come on down and get some games in 😃

Monday again... but at least we have Caledonian Clash #4, with this weeks focus being on Guilty Gear Strive, though as usual we will be running a mix of games, including a Melee CRT Setup.

If there is anything that people would specifically like, please feel free to bring it along, last week we actually had too many monitors lmao.

As usual, we will most likely be in the downstairs area of the bar, but if there is any changes I will let people know!

Reminder that tomorrow night we have our weekly in The Caledonian Inverness Anyone is welcome to come along and join in! We will be running our bracket on Guilty Gear Strive but there will be plenty of setups with other games being ran for friendlies!

For the first time this week we will also have a Super Smash Bros Melee setup going along with CRT 🔥

Seen people talking about this on Twitter and thought it would be appropriate to post here!

In the past three weeks of us running our weeklies we have had such a diverse range of people coming and going, from people still in high school, to married couples and folks with kids.

I have said numerous times in my posts already, but these weeklies are open to EVERYONE, regardless of age. So even if you haven't played a fighting game for over 20 years, it doesn't really matter, everyone that comes would be more than happy to run some games with you and welcome you in!

Despite the name there will be more than just Tekken happening tonight, SFV - Guilty Gear Strive, to name a few!
