WE ARE BACK!!! Absolutely buzzing to confirm we’ll be back at The Storey Gardens again this year for Lancaster Music Festival. We have a whole host of incredible musicians confirmed for Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th October aswell as a fully stocked bar serving the finest pints of Guinness this side of the water, BBQ food all weekend from the Storey, face painting and other children’s activities in the kids corner, chats with the Friends of the Storey Gardens, Lancaster and much much more! It was a great success last year and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back for the best weekend in Lancaster. Line up and more details coming soon. X

This Thursday we head to Garstang library for a very different kind of gig. This will be an intimate show in a lovely setting. We’ll be playing a selection of some of our favourite songs we’ve done over years, as well as a few tales of what we’ve been up to. Tickets are £10 on the door. Hope to see you there.

It has been brought to our attention that the far right are planning an anti-migrant ‘protest’ in Lancaster on Sunday 4th August.

Kanteena are completely against this attempt to spread misinformation and hate in our town. We are part of a brilliant, diverse community which should be celebrated and cherished.

Anyone involved in this protest will be banned for life from our venue without question.

Wow! What a gig at Kendal Calling this afternoon. Bigger and better than we ever could have imagined. Turns out we’re the “replacement for the woodlands shortly” tonight from 10:15. Sorry to be missing Noel Gallagher but sure we might bash out a couple of his tunes!
