Have an hour for lunch?
Set off from the Mill and head to The Crook of Lune, past the co-housing and along the river, when you're heading back cross over the river onto the cycle path for a lovely flat walk, with views of the Mill from across the other side. Use Denny Beck bridge and head back down Mill Lane to the Mill.

📍 The Art Lab

Sessions will be £10 a person.

This is an exciting opportunity to share knowledge and resources and explore all aspects of bookbinding from paper marbling to medieval bindings, from headbands to gold tooling, from book/bookbinding history to paper making and in fact all things book arts.

The group will run every first Sunday of the month but will be on the 2nd Sunday (12th) in January.

🤩 It's a big day for Halton Mill tomorrow.
After many years of hoping we could get it done, the successful receipt of the REPF grant earlier this year has meant that we can finally get a new floor in The Atrium!

A new floor in here will mean the space not only looks better, but is safer, more accessible, cleaner and suitable for many more things!

We will miss the old charm and the markings left by Luneside Engineering which marked the spaces where the machines were, but we're here to look after our building and ensure access for the community for as long as we can!

Annie Flowers Art exhibition is up in the mezzanine until the 12th November! Make sure you check it out!

Anne Flower is an amateur, self taught artist who has been living in Morecambe for the last five years.

She has always enjoyed painting in a variety of materials and in various subjects including animal portraits, nature, flora and fantasy themes.

She said: "The beautiful Morecambe Bay and its constantly changing views have inspired me to paint seascapes in both oil and acrylic paint often from my own photographs.

"It is a truly marvelous environment for an artist and I hope my paintings will capture even a tiny part of the beauty and wonder of the Bay."

The exhibition takes place between October 3 and November 12.

You can find it on the mezzanine above the atrium, and it is free to view.
