It was so good to have back at The LockUp 🎤🎶

As always it was a special & intimate evening of spoken word, poetry & music.

Delicious soulfood from our in-house chef in collaboration with topped off the evening & made sure that everyone had full bellies before the artists all wowed us.

Thank you to all involved, artists new & old, some who even travelled from London & Nottingham...thank you for sharing your art with us 💚

After the success of our last Digital Immersive Yoga (DiY) weekend, we're giddy to announce that we're back with another weekend program of live yoga classes within & this time the digital art projection room is even better. Plus we've added a couple of new very exciting classes!

A collaboration with some of the areas finest yogis, visual artists and sound practitioners. If you are into yoga, art, tech, wellness or just wanna get a bomb instagram shot then come along and see for yourself. 💣 📸

After conferring with the Environmental Health Office, we can confirm that The LockUp is a Covid-19 secure venue & all events held are Covid-19 compliant

*These are LIVE events not virtual classes*

£20 pp or £30 pp for 2 classes of your choice.

Shake off the pressures of the day and join us at The Lockup as Pam from guides us through some powerful moves and poses flowed together to a carefully curated playlist of hip hop tracks old and new
Pam has a down to earth approach to her teaching and likes to create a space where there is no judgement and where you can play and have fun with movement.
With no right or wrong way to move, we can be as creative as we want according to how we feel. So, lets fire up with a dynamic sequence soundtracked to Biggie & Tupac guaranteed to make you work, release tension and more importantly, feel the vibes as you do.
Post flow we will power down with a Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Mos Def and melt into a deep meditation to tracks by D'Angelo to rest up the body as well as unwind and really enjoy the benefits of the movement and breath.
The LockUp is covid compliant, we have enough space to be socially distanced & have all the appropriate sanitisation.
