IMEX Vegas brought together some amazing event professionals from around the world, and we were thrilled to network with so many great people. From inspiring keynote speakers to thought-provoking sessions, we learned more than we ever could have imagined about the future of events.

We went on an intimate tour of Camden Recording Studios, indulged in delicious produce at Fallon & Byrne, and had a magical evening embracing the culture of Ireland at Christ Church Cathedral Dublin with violinists, dinner, and a choir.

As Mental Health Awareness Week comes to a close, we took the time to speak to our team throughout the week. We asked them to reflect on the importance of mental health awareness in the events industry and offer up their advice for anyone who may be struggling.
Mental health awareness must remain an open conversation in the events industry and vital for companies to continue to place importance on year round, not just for one week. So, no matter how big or small our employees believe their problems are, they always have a safe space to talk.
Whether it’s walking your dog, crocheting, lifting heavy things, or contacting your employee assistance provider, it is important to find what works for you. Everyone’s mental health journey is different, but we are all in it together.
We encourage everyone to continue the conversation surrounding mental health throughout the year.

On the 22nd April our team started to take part in a walking challenge to raise awareness for World Earth Day 🌍
The challenge consists of walking 988 miles, the distance from Lands End to John O’Groats, while also stopping off at our Sparq branches across the country on the way…
We gave ourselves 30 days to complete the 988 mile walk and our gorgeous team have been smashing it so far with 613 miles completed already!
We've already passed Sparq Coventry, Sparq Hull AND Sparq Leeds, with only Sparq Livingston left to go.
To rack up the miles our team have been cycling, walking and hiking around the UK, with many using it to replace their drive to work.
For World Earth Day we wanted to do something which would encourage people to get outdoors, replace driving where possible and appreciate the environment we need to take care of.
With only 10 days left to go we’ve got 374 miles left to complete and we couldn’t be prouder of our team for all the hard work they’ve put in ❤️
