Pop along to Boreland Village Hall tomorrow for some lovely homemade soup and sweet treats - sit in or takeaway, the choice is yours 😊

The soup is made and the cakes and other lovely sweet treats are made (thanks to all our bakers) with GF, DF, vegetarian and vegan options so something for everyone 😊 ........ and the ducks are (hopefully) ready to go so please do come and support our fundraiser towards village hall funds tomorrow.
We can also do takeaway soup, rolls, cakes and drinks 😊
Food from 12.30pm to 3.30pm
Free bouncy castle 1pm to 3pm
Kids games 12.30pm to 3pm
Duck race around 3.15pm

A wee share for our fundraising event this Sunday in Boreland - come along and enjoy some homemade soup and homebaking 🍰 😊

This Sunday we are holding a fundraiser to support the running costs of the village hall.

From 12.30pm we will be serving soup, filled rolls and homebaking. Vegan, vegetarian, dairy free and gluten free options will be available. Takeaways available too 😊

There will be a bouncy castle from 1pm to 3pm and outdoor games for kids (weather permitting). The afternoon will end with the duck race around 3.15pm (hopefully the river level will allow 🙏).

We really hope you can come along - we'd love to see a good turnout to support our village hall.

It has been a busy weekend with afternoon tea deliveries and a birthday cake yesterday, and soup & traybakes in the village hall today for our community soup, blether and plant swap. It was good to sit in the sun with my book and a Guinness after all the clearing up was done 🌞😎

It was an absolute pleasure to cater for a Diamond Wedding Anniversary lunch today for an inspirational couple.
A menu created to include the lovely couple's favourite things had spinach & smoked salmon bites and cheese & pickled onion sticks as canapés, followed by steak & ale (with Yorkshire puddings 😁) and finished off with sticky toffee pudding and A Crolla & Sons icecream 😋 and chocolate cake for later.
A lovely visit from the Deputy Lord Lieutenant with a card from the King was the icing on the cake for them.

I've been quiet with posts for a while but I'm still here 😁
I'll be starting afternoon tea deliveries again in April and I'll pop some dates on here in March 🍰
Meantime, orders for 8+ are welcome for afternoon teas and buffets, as well as cakes, traybakes, meringues and more.
I can also cater for funeral teas providing a compassionate and professional service tailored to what the family would like.
