Pumpkin carving season is upon us, you don’t just need to make a monster, we love botanical themed gourds.
Last year @telegraph had an article about us making these beauties. We will be demonstrating this weekend in the shop on Swain’s Lane and we have the tools for sale too.

Anemone season coming to an end, but what troopers they have been, flowering since January. We adore their beautiful variety, long stems and excellent vase life. They are relatively easy to grow and as you can see quiet easy to pick.
Until next year sweet Anemone….👋

We are back on it again, making seasonal content. Something each month to show what we grow and what we can do with it.
This clip is from our March shoot. Just a little taster…..We are making one image a month so maybe a calendar again😉
And this goes with the @malvernshows story which we are posting on our website this evening. Find out what it takes to be the ambassador for sustainable floristry. Read about the journey from paper to reality 🤪
And then….we have some fabulous workshops coming up in our shop on Swains Lane, Highgate.
Sadie, our brilliant shop manager who taught @londonflowerschool before the pandemic, will be showing you how to make table centres using our beautiful fresh flowers.
She has years of floristry experience and is an expert teacher, her classes should not be missed.
In the intimate environment of our wooden clad shop, what could be nicer than playing with flowers with likeminded souls.

Do you want to know more about bees?
Our farm is a haven for wildlife and insect life is buzzing. This is just a little snapshot of bee world explained by @louisebeeshoney who works with us on the flowers. We enjoyed making this little film but got swept up with life on the farm….
Would you like more of these little slow tv films?????
Well I thought you might like a bit of behind the scenes as we plan a Christmas installation. We have been commissioned by @kilvercourt to create evergreen decorations for a fabulous Pop up opening 8th and 9th December.
Inspired by their striking graphic poster we came up with the idea of a sort of ribbon of evergreen. Here we are working out how to make the idea reality…….
I’ll show you how it came out in the next post😉 but if you are in Somerset, be sure to pop in and see for yourself. We are so delighted to be part of this beautifully curated event💥
Our lovely bumble bees down in Somerset must have got word about our delicious organic blooms to their London cousins. This welcome visitor buzzed into the shop today. Check out our link in bio to find out how we’re promoting biodiversity and boosting our bee population on the farm.
Shop bursting with goodness today💥 June flowers have come out to play......
So happy to re-open our shop on Swain’s Lane ✨
And just in time for #britishflowersweek 🤪

Must learn how to use #ticktoc😻
This was for stories but actually thought I would share on my feed as the weather is certainly not letting up. I have repetitive strain in my right arm from lifting 10ltr watering cans over and over and over again. I use them to give specific plants seaweed feed absolutely essential in this heat if they are going to survive #Britishflowers #heatwave #slowflowers #horticulture #seasonalfloweralliance #workingtheland #farmerflorist
We are still loving the Electric Daisy Flower Farm 2018 wall calendar. We get loads of lovely feedback from happy customers each month as they turn the page of their calendars.

Enjoy the Bank Holiday weekend flower friends!
What a week it’s been... rain, rain and more rain! 🌧 But we didn’t let it stop us, we’ve planted 200 Leylandii trees and the new farm is beginning to look like a beautiful green room.
Now for a cosy weekend enjoying hot cross buns and Easter eggs... Happy Easter!
