The Ballad of Shingle Street - Blake Morrison and The Hosepipe Band
In 2015, Blake Morrison published 'Shingle Street,' a poetry collection which depicts the desolate eroding landscape of the Suffolk coast.

Just over 6 weeks left until our London summer school beginning on 21 August: Get Your Folk On! Instrumentalists from age 10 - 16 will spend four days at the House, tutored by top folk artists and forging friendships with other enthusiastic young musicians.
For instrumentalists able to play a basic tune, to more advanced players looking for new challenges - no prior knowledge of folk music is necessary!

Get Your Folk On!: our London summer school for ages 10–16 has just gone on sale.
This friendly and flexible course gives young people the space to develop their skills, learn something new and play and create new arrangements with other young musicians. It is suitable for instrumentalists able to play a basic tune, and also for more advanced players looking for new challenges.
Concessions are offered for a range of criteria, and if the young person also lives or goes to school/college in Camden, they can apply for a full bursary.
