I specialise in handcrafting beautiful creations at my studio in the Forest of Dean. My work is inspired by my travels to India, animals, nature and vintage/interesting textiles. I enjoy experimenting with a variety of materials, traditional techniques and I love to up-cycle/recycle items or materials to give them a new lease of life. I hope you will love my products as much as I love creating them!

Only a week to go until this great wedding show next Sunday! So excited to be heading back to The Speech House Hotel again this year! To make things even more exciting, we will be creating a mini bridal boutique with our unique collection of vintage and “off the peg gowns” available to try on and take away with you on the day with amazing show discounts.

🥂Congratulations Megan & Adam🥂
It was my absolute pleasure to transform Megan’s beautiful dress and make it her own unique design.
The sleeves were changed from lace to crepe, waist raised, belt attached, taken down in size, hem shortened and bustle/wrist look added. This was my biggest job of the year so far, and it’s made my week being able to share these beautiful photos!

I’m still pinching myself a little that the studio is finally open! I’m currently working on getting the new website live and getting some exciting new designs and collections added to the rails. Watch this space! In the meantime, I have some beautiful “off the peg” dresses waiting to be tried on and I also have some availability remaining for bridal and prom alterations. Wow! Yesterday marked 14 years since I started this business! It’s been a journey and I’m so thankful for everyone I’ve met along the ups, downs, bumps and many crossroads! Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone for your support over the years (far too of you many to mention). It means the world to me and is the reason I’m so excited for future adventures, now I’m at yet another crossroads!

I’m currently making the most of some maternity leave and much needed time off with my family but will be back to the sewing machine soon for 2024 weddings. I’m taking bookings well in advance, as my availability is very limited for next year. So, if you are getting married in 2024 and would like to reserve a slot for any alterations, please drop me a message asap to discuss availability.
Thank you to all my customers this year for your support and understanding, as this little monkey didn’t give me the easiest of pregnancies 🤢. It took all of my energy to just keep up with my bridal alteration bookings and bridal shop commitments, so I am really sorry to anyone who’s enquiry I had to turn away and the complete silence on my social media accounts. It’s going to be a challenge juggling life as a new, self employed, working mum but I’m very excited for this new chapter and finally getting around to the (very delayed) launch of the new studio at Hart’s Barn Craft Centre.
Lots of ideas being bounced around behind the scenes at the moment, so watch this space!

Exciting News!
Dhordo & Indigo Bridal Studio has a new home!
Sorry I have been so quiet on here recently, but things have been crazy busy and extremely exciting behind the scenes.
It is time for a fresh start in 2023 and I am now only a week away from opening the new studio!
Here is the new space on the day I collected the keys and we have been working really hard to make the space our own since then. (Huge thank you to my lovely family for all the help!)
I will share some updates and progress pictures with you over the next few days!
