Wow, what a day last Saturday! ❤️

After being recommended by so many of you lovely customers, Luton Irish Forum approached me and asked me if I would run a communion fashion show at their annual St. Brigid’s Afternoon Tea, an event which holds a very special place in the hearts of our local Irish community.

The entire day was brilliantly organised by the lovely Elleesa and so many others from this fabulous organisation at St Josephs Parish Centre.

I can’t say thank you enough to all my gorgeous little models who were absolutely incredible! They had sass, they looked absolutely and utterly beautiful and they had FUN!! 🩷 (I even got my own girlie info a dress which is no easy task)!! I’d love to say a huge thank you to all you lovely mums for allowing your little ones be part of this very special day and for all your help on the day, I could not have done it without you all! The amount of messages, texts etc I’ve had about how fabulous your little ladies were is all testament to you! 😘

I’d also like to say a big thank you to the brilliant .by.claire.lewis for the girls stunning hair. Each and every girl was just perfect! 🩷

Another special thank you to the lovely Lynda and Sweetie Pie Collection for the girls fab goodie bags, they were absolutely delighted! 😍

🩷 All appointments have exclusive use of the boutique meaning only one girl is choosing at any one time. This gives you our undivided personal attention.

🩷 We keep a book to ensure that we won’t sell the same dress to anyone else for your prom (even in a different colour).

🩷 Due to the above, it’s advisable to book your appointment sooner rather than later as the earlier you come in, the more choice you have.

🩷 Some dresses may be in stock with our suppliers, but some may need to be made which can take up to 16 weeks!

🩷 We have a large selection of sale dresses at amazing prices!

COMMUNION 2024 👰🏻‍♀️

Communions may seem a long way off, so here’s some info to questions we frequently get asked!

🩷 My daughter’s communion isn’t until May, I have loads of time right?

If your child finds her dream dress and it’s not available to buy off the peg in the boutique, it will take up to 12 weeks to be made especially for her. Also, a couple of our designers don’t take any further special orders after November/December. After that, it’s whatever sizes are available.

🩷 What if my daughter grows?

It’s a good question, but please don’t worry. When measuring your daughter, we always take into consideration growth. And did you know that our designers cleverly leave plenty of fabric (on many gowns up to 3 dress sizes), for the bodice to be let out!

🩷 I can’t afford it all in one go!

Yes, we understand, so we now offer payment plans. Just request this at your appointment. However if a gown is being custom made, we do require a 30% non refundable deposit.

🩷 Why The Dress House?

We have the largest collection of communion dresses in Herts, Beds and Bucks with dresses from the best designers in the business - Sweetie Pie Collection, Linzi Jay, Emily Grace and Chloe Bell from and our newest arrival,

Each girl has exclusive use of our boutique and she will receive the treatment of a Princess 👸🏼

🩷 I want my daughter to be unique!

She will be! Did you know that we keep a book meaning as soon as you choose your daughters gown, that dress will not be sold to any other girl at the same church! Obviously if someone were to buy the same gown at a different boutique that is out of our control, but we guarantee that we will only sell that gown to your girl 💕

🩷 I need accessories!

We have this covered too. We have a huge selection of all accessories - bags, gloves, veils, shoes and aprons. Yep, APRONS!!! We will soon be receiving some super cute aprons for your little one to wear whilst eating, cooking, or doing whatever these 8 year olds get up to these days!
