Happy April!🤍

The beginning of this month always reminds me to take a moment and celebrate the progress & growth of my business as I officially started Made by Diwani on 12 April 2016!

I cannot believe it has been 7 years - it’s safe to say I’ve learnt a lot over these years and I couldn’t be more happy with where I am with my business today! 7 is my lucky number, so here’s to manifesting bigger and better things for MBD this year!🤞🏽

I’m so grateful to be sharing this journey with all of you incredible humans who have been following me from the start & excited to share more with everyone that’s new to my page!

Thank you to all the couples who have placed orders with me throughout these years, all the wedding vendors & wedding planners who recommend me to their clients and all my future bride & grooms who have secured their slot in my 2023 diary!

The first three months of this year has been so busy but I promise to be back with some new designs and content really soon!

I’ve probably said this before but this has got to be my ultimate favourite invitation I have designed to date! The off centre slit, gold foiling, dusty pink belly band and the prettiest florals on this ivory card is *chefs kiss*

Monday Morning ✅

Feeling very motivated recently and that’s not always the case - I always go through phases so I’m going to make the most of this one while it lasts. Started this month by writing down a list of goals I want to accomplish by the end of the month and I can safely say ticking something off that list 4 days in has got me doing a happy dance! I’ve put together all my digital invite designs into mock-ups ready for my Etsy shop!

Working with the loveliest clients is one of the biggest things that keeps you going when running a small business. Abhy & Niru have been nothing but amazing from the start and despite all of the complications of covid. They finally got to celebrate their marriage recently at their reception! Abhy had the dreamiest vision for her reception and we created mirrored table plan, dance floor & DJ booth designs to compliment her reception decor. I always find that my favourite pieces I work on I never have good pictures of, but here’s one of the lovely couple dancing on the dance floor I designed for them. 🤍

Personalised menus, a favourite wedding trend of mine that came out over the past few of years. So many different ways of attaching your guests name to the menu instead of have a separate place card: with a ribbon, gold clip, eyelets, wax stamp or printed on directly.

I recently recommended a client to have different colour place setting for guests with different allergies to make it easier for caterers and waiters/waitresses.
