Ultimate Events Uk's very own Denis is helping to organise an afternoon tea dance for all ages, see below,

Twilight Years are delighted to invite you to our very own Afternoon Tea Dance at The Forum Theatre in Barrow on Saturday 30th July 12pm-4pm.
We have arranged a wonderful afternoon of song, dance, food and drink, fun, friendship and much more.
There will be highly respected ballroom dance instructor Margaret Hetherington teaching and leading the dances from The Waltz and Quickstep to the Hand Jive and many more to classic songs from yesteryear to modern day hits from the likes of Lady Gaga
We also have Twilight Years very own singing Manager Denis Horan performing all the classics from Sinatra to Tom Jones and Dean Martin to Elvis.
There is a fantastic raffle with some great prizes including a cruise on Lake Windermere and £50 aesthetic treatment at Kerry Wilkinson Beauty Salon and many more.
Tickets are free for Twilight Years Service Users available from Twilight Years Office 01229 835200 and as well as all the above it also includes Afternoon Tea consisting of sandwiches, crisps, a scone and tea and coffee.
General public are welcome to come too, their tickets (inc food) are available from The Forum Box Office 01229 820000 priced at just £7.00
There will be hand-gel and facemasks available with tables spaced appropriately.
Our aim is to help bring the community back to together in a safe environment after a dreadful couple of years and we would really love to have you there to celebrate with us.

We are so pleased to have the extremely talented Mr Zac Thompson perform for us at The Barrow Christmas Lights Switch On concert.
Joining a fantastic line fantastic of entertainers including Kev Thompson, Laser Lights Alive, JD and Swerve and many more.
The event takes place in the Town Square (Outside The Forum) and kicks off 3pm till around 6.15pm.
Every single act is brilliant and we are grateful for them volunteering their time so that we can bring some Christmas cheer to the children of Furness.
Santa has confirmed he will be popping along too so we look forward to seeing you there at The Barrow Christmas Lights Switch On, Saturday 20th November 2021 3pm till 6.15pm in the Town Square.

The Switch-on Star will be lighting up the town at the Barrow Christmas Lights Switch-on celebration on Saturday November 20th.

Nominations are invited for individuals of all ages or groups that are community heroes. They must be associated with Barrow borough.

To Nominate please message us with the name of person/group and the reason why you believe they deserve to switch on the 2021 Xmas lights.

We are super excited to let you all know that this year we will still be lighting up our wonderful town albeit a little different to how we have done it in the past.
We have joined forces with The Forum theatre Barrow and Barrow Borough Council to bring you a VIRTUAL switch on.
We have got together a whole host of Local Barrow talent who will be entertaining you from the comfort of your own homes on Saturday 21st November. Plus we also have some amazing surprises too :-)
We are still going to be on the look out for some switch on stars to do the honours of lighting up the town this year so watch out for further information on this........
We really are honoured that we can still bring entertainment to you all in this difficult time and we hope as many of you as possible tune in and watch what superb local talent we have on our own doorstep and support them.
