Very excited to be back for a Forage walk with a fork event after a long break after having my son . I will be working on a seasonal wild menu over the next couple of weeks using seashore and foraged ingredients. Limited spaces so book asap via their website.

First workshop of the year was a success! I enjoyed being back in the kitchen after a long break and creating a simple but seasonal vegan lunch menu for our guests. Making the most of rhubarb, magnolia and wild garlic from our garden ! So lovely to catch up with my old friend too . Working from home meant I could also still sneak in the occasional Alfie cuddle to get my fix ! All round win .

Open studio event .

Come along between 11-4pm today for art , food, cake & a cuppa. The pop up shop has some wonderful flowers, wreaths, handmade aromatherapy products and prints etc for sale from local sellers . Parking halfway down mill lane in meadows ( signposted from windmill road/ mill lane end ) . Pinocchios mill lane Bradfield co112qp. No dogs . Card preferred

Some of the talented artists and makers attending the Open makers studio next week at our open workshop event & pop up shop .

Our neighbour Andi from Rare breeds Essex will be bringing her spinning wheel and some of her sheepskins. Beautiful autumnal wreaths from the country garden flower company , felt Xmas decorations from Rebel with a cause, linocut prints , cards, natural soaps, watercolours & ceramics .

A small seasonal lunch menu avaliable and homemade cakes .

Roasted squash & pumpkin soup with toasted hazelnut & sage pesto v

Free range pork , fennel , apple & chilli sausage rolls with pickle

Roasted squash , chestnut & leek pasties with thyme suet pastry . V

Refreshments including homemade Hedegrow fizz with sloe & blackberry ( non-alcoholic).

Parking on our lower meadow , past Pinocchios , mill lane , Bradfield co112qp. Look out for the arrows . Then head across the meadows towards the barns . Please note no dogs please .
