🎭 Behind the Scenes: Bringing the Magic of Theatre to Our Community 🎭

Ever wonder how we spread the word about our fantastic theatre shows? It’s all about connection, dedication, and a little bit of magic! ✨

Here's sneak peak of the work that's going on to help bring in a packed audience for the upcoming Tricky Teddy's Galactic Magic Show!

STEP 1: GALACTIC CONNECTIONS
We start by creating a database of local schools near our theatre. Why schools, you ask? Because we believe in inspiring the next generation of theatre lovers! 🏫

STEP 2: FIRST CONTACT
Next, we reach out to these schools, sparking curiosity and excitement about our upcoming show. It’s an invitation to embark on an epic adventure. 📡

STEP 3: LEAFLETS LAUNCH
For every child, we have a leaflet ready. This year that’s 7,500 leaflets ordered and will be meticulously prepared ready for lift-off! 🛸

STEP 4: CLASS CREW ASSEMBLE
Our team works tirelessly, grouping leaflets into clusters of 30 – a classroom-sized crew ready for their space odyssey. It's a labour of love but an essential part of the process as it's not fair to expect the schools to do this! Yes they're all counted by hand.

📬 Next week these bundles of joy embark on their terrestrial journey landing at the selected schools.🎟️💌

I’m absolutely thrilled to announce Krisgar Entertainments will part of Central Bedfordshire Council Libraries Reading Challenge 2024: Marvellous Makers programme of events!

Get ready to spark your creativity and dive into a world of imagination with Central Bedfordshire's Reading Challenge 2024, themed Marvellous Makers! This summer, children and young readers are invited to explore new stories, participate in activities at their local library, and unleash their inner artist. The Reading Agency, in partnership with Create, has developed this year’s challenge to fire up children’s imaginations and foster a love for storytelling.

From 6th July to 14th September 2024, the challenge encourages participants to read at least 6 books, celebrating creativity in all its forms. Whether it’s through junk modelling, music, dance, drawing, or painting, the Marvellous Makers theme is all about discovering the joy and inspiration that reading can bring.

Krisgar and Tricky Teddy will be part of this celebration of reading by delivering 11 magic shows across many of Central Bedfordshire Library sites! More information to follow, in the meantime why not check to see if your local library is on the list.
