Empire Middlesbrough are currently recruiting a full time Assistant Manager.

-Previous experience in bar management required, salary to be discussed and can be negotiated, must have personal license, must be available to work evenings as the business needs.

-Role includes managing staff, stock, complying with company polices, having a good working relationship with local authorities, excel knowledge required, cashing up duties and flexible to the business needs and demands.

It's a brand new era for the Middlesbrough Empire as work begins behind the scenes with a new team and fresh structure as we look to the future. We would like to thank the local authorities for granting this fresh opportunity to rebuild, as we work closely with them for a safer and greater night time economy for our town.

We would like to thank our departing General Manager Ash for his 30 years of hard work, dedication and bringing world renowned clubbing and live music to our town. All the best Ash.

Moving forward The Empire will be lead by a new management team with the support and enthusiasm of Barry Faulkner Jnr. and Barry Faulkner Snr.

Meanwhile, security at the venue will be operated by a new, accredited, door supervision company as we make essential and necessary steps to ensure that best practices are adhered to and that Empire is a safe and fun space for everyone when we reopen.

Rest assured that Middlesbrough Empire will continue to dedicate itself to bringing world class entertainment to the north east, as it has done for the past 125 years.
