Growing up in the North East, any young lad wanting to be a DJ would automatically be led to the makina sound and that’s the way it was for many of years.

For me, it was unreal being 16 years old. smashing out the mixes on Technic MK5s playing 170bpm.

Turns 17, sells MK5s for £500 🤦🏻‍♂️ buys cdjs and switches to bounce. 2017 was a mad year 🤦🏻‍♂️

Anyway back in 2016, I’d done tonnes of gigs playing bounce and then I thought I’m going to send Lee Davison at M***a a demo playing nothing but 170bpm.

We did get booked for M***a but playing bounce at 150 😂🤷🏼‍♂️
