Sandy and I did our 4th Prom at Launceston College last week. Another lovely day taking two beautiful girls for their special day.

Sandy and I drove 4 hours to be part of Vintage Nostalgia Festival So glad we did x On the way up, we lined up all our ducks, but didn't have a pop gun😜 Sandy and Mr Brightside also shared time together. I hand a brush with the law, lots of dances, a nose at all the vintage car and enjoyed the company of friends xx 😊

Sandy and I went to First and Last again this year. We had to strap down the sun canopy awning as they were giving it strong winds and heavy rain. Despite the weather we had a great weekend, and won Best Interior in the show and shine xx

Yesterday I did a Prom from St Austell. It was the first time I'd done one from there. First they all travel down to Charlestown, lovely, except can you imagine the chaos as stretch limos go down and try to turn with a large crowd of family, friends and students all milling around?! I took a very lovely young man called Ethan and the lovely Lucy, onto the Prom at the Atlantic Hotel, Newquay.

So this morning is Sandy's MOT and taxi test. Arrived to discover that I needed first aid kit, hi vis for passengers, larger fire extinguisher and a torch 🔦!! Quick dash back into Bodmin to get all that. Then back to leave the lovely Brooke in charge of doing the tests. Went for a walk with Tillie whilst waiting, on the cold wet Bodmin Moor and found a VW emblem and some snow. Hoping these were signs that all would be well I returned to find she had passed xx Now for the Council inspection at 3 xx

It's getting closer, I have passed the DBS check. Sandy is booked in for her MOT an Taxi test on Friday, and then, providing she passes, we will be issued with our licences and plates 😀

So like most things, getting my licences for starting Just VW hire is taking longer than I would like. But hopefully we should be OK to start by the end of March xx

It's finally all coming together. I now have insurance and public liability insurance in place for Sandy. She is now almost at the final hurdle to becoming a Private Hire Vehicle.

I go in tomorrow to the Licencing Offices with my applications for Drivers licence and Operators Licence along with other documentation they require. Then she just has to pass her MOT at an approved garage and we are set to rock and roll.

Have been talking to a website designer about getting that set up. All I need now is a recommendation for a brochure designer and we will really be full steam ahead. So excited for the next adventure with Sandy x
