It may not feel like summer..... but these will.certainly get you in the mood for it. Lots of flowers done, bigger and smaller bouquets for various occasions.
Some local flowers in the above bouquet too, which always makes it a bonus. Lovely local gladioli and cynara, others grown a bit further up country .. and some flowers from further afield too.

Update ... back in Cornwall now and got my delivery yesterday, so all stocked up for your floral wishes.
Mum is out if hospital and is slowly getting better. Settling in OK at home. She was very touched by all your kind wishes. Fingers crossed she will make a full recovery and will stick to doctors advice - especially about drinking fluids and keeping mobil. They gave her an electric impulse to the heart to get her pulse beating better. She was lucky not to have suffered a stroke when she collapsed at home. Thank you all ###

Sorry peeps, short shop closure....
My mum is not very well and in hospital. I am traveling to Germany to spend some time with her.
I will be back on Thursday 27.06.2024 with a new flower delivery coming in.

Boom.....and on that note they have arrived. Peonia season 2024 has started! A little earlier this year due to the mild winter. My absolute favourite flower, but then I am a May baby, so that's not surprising.

Happy Mothers Day to all you mums out there. I will be in the shop today until lunchtime for collections and any last minute orders. I really had to dig deep yesterday to finish all your orders. It was a long day but worth it and I hope there will be many happy mums out there today receiving their floral gifts. My two little troopers aka daughter Alina and hubby David will be out again today doing my deliveries.

I had the pleasure of having Lizzie in my shop this morning. has been fascinated by my workstation and has been in to paint it whilst I conditioned my freshly delivered flowers. I can't believe the result. Absolutely amazing. I always admire people who have this talent, I certainly haven't.

Happy New Year to customers and friends alike. I hope you all have a happy and healthy 2024 ahead of you.
I start my new year as I finished the last one, tucked up in bed with a high temperature. I therefore will not be back as planned tomorrow. First flower auction only starts tomorrow, so a fresh new cut of flowers can be delivered by Thursday this week.

Happy 4th Advent. Wishing all my customers and friends a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you for supporting my small business and keeping me extremely busy for the festive season. Now it's time for me to wind down, put my feed up and having a well earned rest, at least until the morning. My turn to cook the dinner.

Another wreath making class finished and some lovely results. Christmas is surely on the way now. Tomorrow's class will be held at in Penzance. The proceeds of tomorrow's event will go towards their chosen charity, Cornwall Air Ambulance.

It is lovely to see how everyone's wreath turns out differntly and there is nothing better than spending a couple of hours creating something for yourself among like minded people.

What a lovely thing to come back to after being in Germany where I visited family and friends and helped my mum celebrate her 80th birthday.
Jane from the Penzance Flora group (sorry not on Insta so I cannot tag) kindly dropped this into my shop this week and it will now find a nice place where I can proudly present it.
My first few days back have been quite busy and I still need to unpack all the goodies I brought back from Germany.
Whilst I was out there I visited an Advent Exhibition held at . I was like a kid in sweetshop And the car was packed to the brim on our way back. Lots of lovely things for the upcoming Christmas celebrations ... but more to come on that subject next week.
Thanks to all who dropped by this week. It was lovely to see you all. I am full of energy with a head full of ideas.

Oh I am well chuffed .... thank you so much. Many thanks to our local Flora Group without you Penzance would not look as nice as it does. Congratulations to the Planted House and Sullivans for your gold award too.

The Britain in Bloom results are in!!! We could not be happier to announce that the very prestigious Gold award has been given to three Pz businesses The Planted House, Sullivans Diner and Florescere_jutta_brown, they all deserve a huge congratulations, well done all of you.

And it doesn't end there - two more businesses have earned a Silver Gilt award, hands up The Longboat Inn and the One And All also deserve a big round of applause. Some of you may remember, the Longboat had a really unfortunate incident right before judging, but we did everything we could to help and it looks like it paid off, well done to everyone involved.

In case anyone is wondering, we didn't enter the town again this year and there is a reason. It's not that we're not super proud of what we do - and it's sure not because we don't think Penzance deserves prizes, because we are and we do. But the way the BIB judging works, there's a lot more to it than just planting. The town is also judged on how recently the lampposts were painted and how much gum is on the pavements, how clean the shop fronts are, things like that really do count. And we have in the past painted, cleaned and scraped and done all those things. But not to put to fine a point on it, we'd rather be making something beautiful for us all all year round than making it perfect for a judge on one day. So this is how we're going to work for the foreseeable, we'll enter whatever business would like us to (shout if you'd like to be on the list of entries next year!) but we'll concentrate our efforts on what we're good at, being proud of our whole town. Well done again to everyone who won this year!

Dicky the deer..... thank you so much Jodie for a fantastic weekend working with willow, creating this deer. This variety is called Dicky Meadow. I really really enjoyed myself. There is something soothing working with your hands and seeing the sculpture unfold itself. I am hooked and will have to make another as this one is a special gift for my mum.

Just love it when I get a professional photo of my flowers. This bride kindly shared it with me to use on my socials.
Although a much smaller occasion than the last one, it was still as special and I loved creating the flowers for their big day.

Wedding season for 2023 is nearly finished now for me, giving me time to concentrate on other things. I am off to attend a workshop in a couple of weeks time making a live size reindeer out of willow, learning a new skill and I am looking forward to it. After that it's time getting things moving for the next big event in the calendar - do I dare to mention the 'c' word yet?

Congratulations to Henrietta and Edward who tied the knot yesterday. It was a little blustery but a nice and dry day down here in Cornwall. Such a lovely couple, I wish you both much happiness for your future together.

I created the church arch using smilax, a foliage only just recently available here in the UK, thank you for sourcing it for me. It has such lovely movement and it just perfect for these instalations.
Apologies to my customers who found my door closed Friday and part Saturday but it was no mean feat creating all these arrangements and moving them from church to venue,
Churns and altar arrangements also doubled up as top table arrnagements.
I only managed to take a few snaps of the flowers on my phone, can't wait for the professional photos. I did not take any of the buttonholes I did for bridal party and lots of friends and family members who ordered. I stopped counting at 25. All matching individuals taste and choice of outfit.
