Just popping on for an update before heading to 🇪🇸 for a working holiday!
Well July you have been quite something!

Well that's has been quite a few weeks!!
From sandwich lunches to fine dining and feeding a group of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan visitors with some delicious Aberdeen Angus sirloin.
Menus have included my fave twice baked cheese soufflés, beautiful Halibut with a lemony 🍋 caper sauce, rack of lamb, strawberry tart, tomato & caramelised onion galettes, fillet of Scotch beef....
And cakes! Lots of cakes 🎂

It's a beautiful day! And here is a rather beautiful cake (I think!)
A Victoria sponge covered in luscious vanilla buttercream with a crushed meringue jacket - simple but rather effective!!

Thought should be hopping on here as don't seem to have had a minute this month!

It has been a month of quiche! Quiche lorraine, roasted vegetable, broccoli & cheese, hot smoked salmon & spinach aaaaaand an asparagus and gruyere 😋
But do not fear my fabulous friends - there have been cheesecakes , pavlovas, banoffee pies and cakes - carrot, cup, Victoria sponge and lemon drizzle....however what do you call a lemon drizzle without the lemon - it's just a cake obvs (you really don't want to discover no 🍋 at 8.30 on a Friday night for Saturday's orders! Oopsie 🤪

So thank you for all your continued support and referrals - it really means a lot.

This delicious biscuit certainly has a number of names!

One of my faves - filled with raspberry jam and topped with glossy icing and a glacé cherry - seriously what would you rather have on a Tuesday! 😋

Whatever you want to call it pick yours up with a lovely latte Perth Theatre and Concert Hall .

Scotch Beef Wellington....(we need wellingtons today! 😩)
This beauty has been dry aged, seared, cooked medium rare before it got its mushroom shirt, followed by its pastry jacket!

Not much else to say about it really - just wish I was eating it 😪

Off to the client it goes with a slow cooked Scotch beef lasagne, potato dauphinoise aaaaaand sticky toffee pudding.

A classic comforting menu for this dreich day😋
