The Baum night has a new name and a new venue. Should be a great night. Everyone welcome, whether reading your own poetry or a favourite poet. Or singing or playing an instrument. We've even had sign language performed to music. So a very inclusive night.

Hi all,

The first live meeting of 'Pegasus' (thanks, Michael for suggesting the name) will be this Sunday, 5 September, at the Flyer.

I checked out the parking and it will be very limited along the Esplanade, so the best bet are the car parks behind the Flyer. To reiterate the route, coming towards the Baum from Littleborough, go through those lights, likewise those by Touchstones/ASDA and turn left at the next lights before the deck access flats. Go along that road (Drake Street) until you see the Nelson pub on your right. Turn left just before that (Church Stile) and at the small roundabout at the end go straight over. Top car park entrance on left, for bottom car park carry on, left at the bottom and left again for the entrance. Walk left out of the entrance, right at the end and The Flyer is the pub on the corner.

It will be great to see everyone face to face again. For Sunday, we'll meet in the area furthest left from the bar.
