🎄 Not booked your Christmas wreath-making workshop yet?

Hi, I'm Hanna! I run Faux Floral from Meldreth, and I'm hosting a Christmas Wreath Workshop later this month!

I know there are lots of lovely wreath workshops popping up at the moment, but mine is a little different. We'll be using beautiful faux flowers and foliage, so not only will your wreath look wonderfully natural this Christmas, but you'll be able to bring it out year after year!

It's a chance to get together with a friend, or come along on your own. Enjoy a bit of festive fun, get creative and hopefully leave feeling rather pleased with what you've made! 😊

Whether you've made a fresh wreath before or have no experience at all, please don't worry. I'll be there to guide you every step of the way, using my no-glue technique!

🎄 Thursday 26 November, 7pm
📍 The Coach House Hotel, Flint Cross, Royston
💷 £55, with everything you need included

Fancy joining me?

To book your place, just pop me a message or email [email protected].

Running a small business is about so much more than making and selling beautiful things. I think so anyway.

One of the loveliest parts of what I do is getting to know people, hearing their stories and being trusted to create something that holds real meaning for them.

This lovely lady has supported me and Faux Floral since the very early days, and that loyalty means more to me than she’ll probably ever realise. So when I heard what had happened, I knew I wanted to do something for her. Not because I had to, but because I wanted to.

A little act of kindness and a thank you for three years of support. 🥰

It’s the people and the stories behind the flowers that make what I do so special. ❤️

I’m not quite sure where the last few months have gone!

It’s been a bit of a whirlwind, and I’ve been so busy behind the scenes that I’ve barely had time to share half of what I’ve been up to!

From workshops, to a full office floral installation, to bringing beautiful wedding visions to life, recreating bridal bouquets as anniversary keepsakes, giving a talk about the hidden language of flowers (with a little live demo thrown in!) and even creating flowers for Swarovski’s member events! ✨

There have been a few real pinch-me moments along the way. Opportunities that I never imagined would come my way when I started Faux Floral, and some I still can’t quite believe happened!

It’s been busy, a little chaotic at times, but I’ve loved every minute of it. ❤️

I’m so incredibly grateful to every single person and business who has put their trust in me, whether that’s for something big or small. Being asked to create something special for you really does mean a lot.

It’s moments like these that make me think of my dad. Losing him changed so much for me, and ultimately led me to take that leap of faith and start Faux Floral. I think he’d be pretty proud of what I’ve been up to. ❤️

How gorgeous is this new space! 😍 Last month, Georgina opened the doors to the new home of Feminine & Co, and I was delighted to create a bespoke faux flower arrangement for her entrance space.

One of the things I love about running my own small business is getting to support other local businesses, especially those run by women who are putting their heart and soul into what they do.

It was lovely to play a small part in this exciting next chapter for Georgina and Feminine & Co. Wishing lots of success in your beautiful new space! 🤍

If you’re looking to add a little floral touch to your own business space, I’d love to help bring your ideas to life! 🌸

A bit of a pinch-me moment 🥹 Walking into Swarovski carrying flowers I’d created for their stores was honestly a little surreal.

When I started Faux Floral just over 2 years ago, I had absolutely no idea where it might take me. I just knew I wanted to do something to honour my dad, that was creative and bring joy to people, and importantly, have more time with my family. And then there are moments like this ✨

I’m still a one-woman business, creating arrangements from my little workshop/garage in Cambridgeshire, so walking through those doors to deliver my flowers felt pretty special.
Definitely one of those moments where I had to stop and think… I actually did that.

Very grateful. And yes, quietly rather proud of myself too if that’s ok…

Some songs are just impossible not to sing along to, right 🎶 🤣

Working through wedding proposals, then the next I’m reliving seeing Harry Styles last week. He was so good!! My guilty pleasure!!

Please tell me I’m not the only one 🫣

A message this morning asking for a birthday flower crown… and I was straight into making mode ✨

I love creating pieces like this — something completely personal and a little bit different.
Because really… why should weddings have all the flowers? 🤍

Would you wear a flower crown for your birthday?
