Here’s a few party planning tips you might not have thought about 👇🏽💃🏽🥳

🎨 Send a colour chart or sketch of your backdrop to your cake maker. This way they can see the exact shades you’re using

📸 If you can, chose a blank space with good lighting for your backdrop. Things like windows, curtains or picture frames can ruin your photos

💜 Use plain coloured soft play and bouncy castles for an elegant look

💌 Match your invites to the party decor or theme

🎤🎂The food and music are the things that people will remember most!

💁🏽‍♀️ Reduce stress by having a planner

🕯️Lighting is so important. It helps to set the vibe

🪩💃🏽Lastly, create a setting that reflects your style! This is a day about you 🫶🏽

If I can give you one bit of advice when planning your outdoor event! Please have a plan B in place‼️ it’s supposed to be summer but the weather definitely wasn’t bringing those vibes for this setup. Luckily my client had a gazebo to save the day 🙌🏽

Hey my lovelies, It’s been a while since I showed up so I thought I would post a pic of me just out here living my best life☺️. A break from being a mum, wife and business owner really was needed. I’m usually covered in pampas, baby food and looking like a hot mess so it’s nice to put abit of slap on and enjoy a day out with the besties! A reminder to all you women working your arses off while trying to keep your s**t together and take care of everyone else! Have a day off from the chaos and recharge with a little self care!

Last Saturday I did a beautiful set up outdoors for a lovely client of mine. The sun was shining and it looked like the perfect weather for an outdoor set up. However as sunny as it was the wind was not on our side. Backdrops were falling on the floor and balloons were flying all over the place. Luckily we managed to find a way to make it work by using lots of heavy objects to keep things in place. This is your reminder to be prepared so you’re not disappointed on your special day. I can’t express how important it is to try and have a Plan B space to set up if possible. English weather is unpredictable!!
