Yesterday Team Votel had their latest Team night out which was also a reward and celebration of the last 6 months where we’ve had 8 new people join us, launched a new division called Votel Events, buying our own new office amongst many other exciting achievements. Was great to have Adam from Radisson Global join us and great to see he fully embraced the Votel way!! Great food and service at too.

We are proud to have reached this incredible milestone of operating for 6 years! It’s been an incredible journey of many highs and the Covid lows but we are still here thriving and growing and this year reached a team of 20 great people, launched a new division and currently in the process of buying a new larger office! Thank you to all our clients, colleagues and suppliers who have supported us through this incredible journey!!! Here’s to another great 6 years!!

Votel Group – Events Take Over!

Award winning venue sourcing agency, Votel Venues is expanding into the world of Live Events.

Established in 2018, Votel Group has gone from strength to strength establishing themselves as a leading venue-sourcing agency, providing a global venue-sourcing solution.

Now the team are taking the step into the live events arena and launching Votel Events; offering a full-service events solution, from a straightforward projector and screen to full production, event management and everything in between.

Ian Conder, CEO of Votel Group said “We have seen there is a huge opportunity here to expand on how we already support our clients. Keeping to our core values, we will support our clients by sourcing the perfect solutions for their events, whilst offering them exceptional value. In line with our free venue sourcing service, Votel Events’ primary objective will be to make the delivery of our client’s events as simple and stress-free as possible.”

To bolster this move, the team have brought in Ian Brown, former Director of vbx. Events Ltd to lead this expansion. Alexi Hughes, Votel Group Director said “Ian has a huge amount of knowledge and experience within this particular sector and having seen what he has achieved, he is the perfect person to lead and launch this exciting new division.”

The awards were celebrated in a room full of business owners all striving for excellence and progress and the host, Stephen Mulhern was brilliant!

To further help Votel Venues to take the next step in our growth plans, enhanced partner and supply relationships, better client service targets, commerciality and supporting and improving the team, Ian Conder and I delighted to announce that Katherine Love has joined us as our new Business Services Director.

Katherine will be overseeing our great venue finding team, including our ever growing International business as well as our great finance team.

Katherine brings a wealth of experience having worked in keys roles in some great organisations; most recently Hilton and before that Village Hotels and Principal Hayley (now De Vere)

In her role, Katherine will be supported by three other great Team Leaders in Ellie Cook, Nicole Kiff and Ka Wai Karman Cheung, our Ops Manager, International Account Manager and Finance Manager.

We are really excited about this addition which will help us achieve both our exciting plans and goals.

Ian and Lex have great pleasure and delight in announcing that Will Meadowcroft has been promoted to Votel Venues new Head of Sales.

Will joined us back in November 2020 during lockdown and has been a fantastic addition ever since.

From day 1 Will has been a key member of the team, from driving new business, driving his account growth, supporting both the sales and ops teams and being the buck of many Ed Sheeran jokes. 😉

Will has also built up and strengthened our relationships with suppliers both in the UK and Internationally.

Will encapsulates everything Votel stands for and represents and this promotion is a deserved and logical next step in his career journey!
