I had the pleasure of beading this beautiful dress, a few weeks ago, for the amazing Amy's wedding. 💒
Note it's dark when I am done. 2am dark. 🫣 You can't say I'm not committed when I get going. After altering the dress I spent 10hours glueing pearls and hand stitching beads to give the dress that wonderful sparkle on the day. I have shown video of at night with flash and during the day to show the difference a bit of lighting can make.

I always feel a bit odd when I tell brides I work from my home studio. I have visions of brides thinking I sew in my lounge in front of the TV, dress dragging on the floor. I swear that's not even close!
I have dedicated a whole room in my house with new floors, walls and furniture. It's as tidy and clean as it can possibly be, with all the room I need to sew veils and alter dresses.

This sample sale dress had lost a fair few beads with its time on the rails but after lots of hand sewing and a bit of love she was as good as new!
I replaced beads on the back, shoulders, front, sleeves and the train.

Re adding trim to this amazing dress.
In order to re hem your lace edged dress we first have to remove it. This can be by cutting it off if the distance is large or unpicking if the lace is bigger than the height difference.
I then move it on up and resew it down using my free motion machine foot. It's a long process but in the end it's like I never touched it.
