It’s been a fantastic year and we’ve been super busy. Thank you so much to our customers. We couldn’t do it without you, and we hope to continue doing much more of it in 2024.

I couldn’t tell you the last time we had a magical snowfall in Cornwall, but when it does happen, this is what it looks like at Chycara 🥹

You may have 10, 100 or 1000 guests, but taking time to be by yourselves and enjoy some time together on wedding day is essential.

Jason & Helen spent plenty of time exploring the Chycara gardens to enjoy some quiet time and reflection after a beautiful ceremony, whilst photographer captured those little moments.

We have endless places on site to duck and dive into, just giving you 5 minutes to breath and relax, where nobody can see you.

What a weekend we had last week for Ellie & Johns wedding. It was absolutely a day of firsts for us and we still haven’t stopped talking about how stunning the bride looked 🤩 Colourful sequin dresses and a 20 piece band were the main order of the day!

This was the perfect opportunity to show how your wedding day can be as unique to you as you like. It’s incredible to see how creative couples are in order to have the day that best represents them.

Thanks to the usual talent of for making these pictures sing. Special mention to for the stunning flowers too 🥰

I promise to do more than one post of this couple ❤️. Mark & Kayleigh lit up the office when photographer sent us a link to their finished photos from July this year.

This was a Chycara classic - couples laughing & smiling all day, combined with some super loving moments too. Enjoying every minute of it, everything we hope for.

A few weeks ago we had some beautiful new foliage installations hand made for us by . The brief was that we wanted more of a a feeling of the outdoors coming in.

Great work team and thank you to Vicki! These are either included or optional for our guests depending on their booking date.

In the Spring, the Chycara gardeners use the dry weather as a chance to cut paths in some of the wilder parts of the garden.

Located in the most North Easterly part of the grounds, the “top field” is a great spot for guests to do some proper rambling and just get lost for a bit 🥰 At the highest point you’ll be rewarded with all day sun and valley views.

Spring has been wild this year so far.
We’ve had more rain than we care to remember, but our couples have stood defiant against the elements and had incredible days to remember, rain or shine.

Gemma & Carl spoke nicely to the rain gods, who kindly moved the clouds along for their April wedding this year.

We’ll that’s it. The start of a New Year and the promise of more smiles, tears, laughter and memories to be made for our couples getting married with us this year.

As ever we’re excited to see what 2023 brings and we’re already eager to get the wedding season underway and that Spring feeling in the air.

For any newly engaged couples, we still have some space for 2024 and we look forward to hearing from you.

Chycara has always been a family business. It’s what drives the passion behind everything we do here.

So when the eldest Son of the family married the amazing .lalwhite in July this year, you can imagine the fun and excitement that came with it.

We shared and understood the emotion behind Chycara as a venue for this couple, with Ed just 11 years old when he first wondered through the beautiful grounds here.

Just as every couple gets to experience when they have their wedding here or any other amazing location, it can take a life milestone to get the family and friends together again but WOW is it worth it!

The Chycara team stepped out from behind the bar, got their glad rags on and joined in. 🥳

This was a day of pure smiles and laughter. The amazing photo album put together by the talented was outrageously hard to pick a few favourites from, but every picture brings joy and memories.
