Wow! Rural Voices was just brilliant! Thank you so much to everyone who came to enjoy the captivating talk by Charles Dowding. There was a great convivial atmosphere, lots of people from the village and beyond came on their own and met friends or made new friends over breakfast, others came in groups of friends or family. A wonderful team of volunteers helped village hall committee members cook and serve breakfast, welcome guests and do the washing up (thank you!!). Everyone left full of food and exciting ideas for their gardens and we are so excited for the next event with Julian Hight now! Just a note on our tasty breakfasts so you know what to expect for future events. It won't always be exactly the same but we will always prioritise local suppliers and lovely fresh produce. Here was the menu from this one:
