🔸 This is no April Fool 🔸 Our sculptures really are carved from sand and water! Here's a small snippet of Niall Magee and Jan Zelinka sculpting one of our incredible dinosaur-themed sculptures. If you're visiting today, you'll be able to catch Niall in action. Once a sand sculpture has been carved, a light 5% PVA solution is sprayed over the completed surface to preserve the shape and integrity. 🎃 How to make a sand pumpkin with Angelika 🎃 🔸Make a mound of damp sand and pat down. 🔸Using the willy sphere, and slight pressure create your circular shape. Always start from the same spot. 🔸With damp sand create the pumpkin stalk and place into position. 🔸Add the facial details and pumpkins creases with the spatula tool in any design you’d like. Our Story

An Art Gallery with a Difference SandWorld in Weymouth, Dorset, is the UK's only all weather Sand Sculpture Festival, established in April 2011, it is a hidden treasure set within the grounds of Lodmoor Country Park.
