We recently refurbished some of our rooms & we can now give our couples the option of getting ready at Canford.

We have two rooms that you are free to use: the Crown Room & Dix Family Room - these can be used exclusively the bridal or grooms party or we have hosted both parties in each room.

Don’t worry we have ways so that you don’t cross paths before the ceremony.

A sparkling breakfast for 10 guests (or more) is also included!

We are looking forward to hosting more outdoor drink celebrations as summer officially begins next week!

A few of our couples have enjoyed their drinks reception and evenings outside this year thanks to the sunny and dry weather.

Whether your ceremony is at Canford or somewhere nearby, we will have your drinks ready for you and your guests to enjoy while you relax on the sunken lawn, gardens, and by the fountain.

Something we ask our couples which always takes them by surprise is what napkin style would you like?

We offer a few different styles one is a rose, another has a pocket to pop a flower or your menu into.

The choice depends not only on the design you want, but also on your entrance; if you want your napkins to wave, one that is simple and quick to unfold is the best option.

We offer both round tables and long table for your guests.
Options for your top table can include a round, long, no table or a sweetheart table for just the two of you.

It's great to see how each couple decorates their space, whether it be with elaborate displays, lush foliage, or cosy candles.

Today is national pet day! 🐾

Did you know we allow dogs in your ceremony? Unfortunately they can’t join you for the rest of your day but you have time during your drinks reception for pictures before they have to leave.

They are the purfect companion to relax with when your getting ready too!

We have our own furry friends that we love but we know most of our couples have pets of their own too! (we’ve seen them join our video calls) 🐾

There are several hidden photo spots in Canford; one of our favourites is the north tower.

The tower is an excellent location to arrive and also take pictures with your bridal car, as well as couple shots later in the evening.

Our Great Staircase is a wonderful spot for group photos with people closest to you.

They bring us to tears, laughs, and occasionally worry, about what might be mentioned (looking at you best men)

They can be long or short but they always find the right words to say.

Our top tips are to keep them under 10 minutes each, make them entertaining & avoid giving a biography (Father of the Brides have a talent for this)

Our first wedding of the season took place on Saturday and WHAT A WEDDING!

We had so much fun; the dancefloor was partying all night long, and the bride, groom, and their guests were amazing.

We’ve seen a few sneak previews of their images, and they look stunning.
