The magic of light. Everything ready for tomorrow and the Woburn Christmas Festival with a small Christmas market, great selection of food options, mulled wine, 14 member brass band leading the Carol singing, Santa arriving at 6pm, and we’ve been told he’s bringing little gifts for all the children. The turn on of the Christmas tree lights and the opportunity to meet Santa. And of course a wonderful team of ‘Elves’ to help in any way. Looking forward to welcoming you all.

This years Woburn Christmas Festival will be held on the pitchings and green as normal, we look forward to seeing you all! Free entry, 25/11/23 from 4pm onwards!

We invite you all, young and not so young, to build a free standing Christmas tree to help create a Christmas tree forest on the Green on Saturday 25th November. Every child will be given a small LED candle to hang on a Community tree in the centre of the Green until it is completely illuminated. Full details on all activities on the night to follow soon.

The next project is well underway. Inviting everybody to make a Christmas tree. Or if you’re little and not enough time to make one, The Woburn will have some for you to decorate but limited space so ensure you book. The trees must be free standing and will be installed as part of a ‘Christmas tree forest’ on the Green. Full details on the event to follow soon.

What a night! A massive set of thank you’s are due to put on such a great event - it’s an almost endless list so for now may I just thank on behalf of the Woburn Traders Association who organised this evening:

Johann - for all his incredible events organisation, creativity and patience in making this event possible
Darren - Our Fireworks Extraordinaire Chief who put on such a great show
Tommy - The Mission Control Superstar behind the scenes that directed proceedings with such professionalism

A big big thank you also to all of those who volunteered and made tonight the fantastic success that it was! We couldn’t have done it without you!

And finally and most importantly, thank you all, for coming and supporting, for being so patient and polite, and for making the event the success it was!

Woburn Fireworks is now COMPLETELY SOLD OUT! No tickets will be available on the gate and you will only be allowed admission with a wristband. This is due to strict capacity limits on our insurance that makes this event viable. If you have bought tickets but not yet collected your wristbands, please collect from Woburn China Shop before midday tomorrow to avoid standing in a very long queue at the gate!

PLEASE PLEASE be AWARE there are SCAMMERS actively trying to ‘sell their tickets’ that does not exist. Unless you can identify who you are buying from and they are LOCAL. Do not buy tickets from them!!!!! As you will end up out of pocket and without tickets.

This is just so fantastic! The results of creative thinking by 26 wonderful children. These lanterns will be part of the parade on Saturday 4th November. Please join us and make this community event a truly wonderful experience. Huge huge thank you to Christine and her team at for arranging this and looking forward to the event.

Anybody that brought tickets online, PLEASE collect your tickets from Woburn China Shop to avoid having to queue up on the night to collect your tickets. Please bring your purchase reference with you as we won’t be able to issue tickets without it and we cannot let anybody in without wristbands.

‘Calling all Kids’ to create lanterns for the lantern parade on Saturday 4th November. The child with the best lantern will have the opportunity to press the BIG RED button to start the firework display at 6:30. Looking forward to all the entries. Anybody with lanterns to gather on the cobbles in centre of with the parade starting down to the Village Hall at 4:10pm.

You are all invited to create your own lanterns, whether simple paper lantern or something more creative. (LED lights only to be used in lanterns please)
Be part of the lantern parade on Saturday 4th November from the centre of Woburn down to the Village Hall for the lighting of the bonfire and firework display.

As part of the Woburn Fireworks Event we are introducing the Larntern Parade from the centre of the village on the pavements either side of the road in time for the lighting of the bonfire. Everybody is invited to create your own lantern and join the parade. Full details to follow soon but just some of the lanterns shared so far Woburn Village
