Well we are reaching the end of 2019. Thanks to those who gave to the crowdfund project. I am afraid we did not reach our target although many of our competitors did. All money given through the project was returned.
We have received confirmation of £3,000 from Bernard Sunley Foundation.

Just heard that the National Farmers Union Mutual Charitable Trust turned down our application for grant aid

I applied for the 8 or 9th grant yesterday - the Masonic fund...Great way to spend my Sunday!
Dont forget, it is Christmas Cheer on Saturday 2.00-4.00 a chance to buy children's toys, cuddly animals and clothes and 2 enormous teddy bears are for sale. Just come for a cuppa! raising funds for play equipment for children by children.

To raise the roof. Our village hall roof is made of asbestos. It is 50 years old. It needs replacing urgently.
