After an amazing set at UTC Music Festival, how could we not add The Endings - Telford to our line-up on the Saturday’s main stage. A Shropshire based five piece band playing energetic Celtic/Folk/Punk original music. This band is sure to get even the non dancers dancing.

Leftychris Band’s emphasis is the live performance of the songs with the band applying a more ‘in the moment’ style to the structure of the songs. The interplay of instrumentation and genuine listening jammy feel make every gig different and every version of the same song variable.

Death Of The High Street (DOTHS) are an energetic wall of noise who’ve spent years developing
their unique sound, style and artistic performance. Post-punk, indie, rock, pop - it’s all in there…
Influences are wide and although artists such as Bob Dylan, Sleaford Mods, Vi**ra Boys, Carter
USM are noted as favourites, DOTHS sound nothing like any of them, and yet, weirdly, they sound a
little like them all... It definitely makes for an interesting sound and live show. Catch them on the indoor stage on the Saturday.

On the Saturday we have Ratatouille’s Revenge , a Leeds-based band, channelling the sonic spirit of Pink Floyd’s innovation, Nirvana’s raw intensity, and The Clash’s rebellion. They fuse a psychedelic journey with punk grit to take listeners on an auditory exploration of the cosmos and beyond.

The Nottingham and Chesterfield based prog/ psyche band Herds will be playing our indoor stage on Saturday.
They have been playing for 10 years and have supported bands including The Waterboys, Echo and the Bunnymen and Hawkwind at venues including Rock City and The Borderline and festivals including HRH Prog and High Voltage.
They have just released their second album, Falling Wide Awake, to great critical acclaim.

Joining our main stage on the Saturday, we have Pat Fulgoni Blues Experience featuring talented musicians from the Leeds scene including Jacob Beckwith on guitar, Rory Wells on bass, Sam Bolt on keys and Zebedee Sylvester on drums.
The Pat Fulgoni Blues Experience set includes original compositions alongside glorious renditions of Ray Charles, BB King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Sonny Boy Williamson, John Lee Ho**er, Jimi Hendrix, Robert Johnson and more. You won’t want to miss them.

First announcement for Rotten Poetry's gazebo stage is Harrison Rimmer, a singer songwriter hailing from Fleetwood & grown in York. He has been touring for 12 years around the UK, Australia, Germany, Ireland, The Netherlands, France & parts of Asia playing to anyone at anytime. His sound is a blend of Bruce Springsteen with a flavouring of Nirvana & Johnny Cash. He has supported the likes of Boston Manor, PET NEEDS, John Power (from CAST), Peatbog Faeries, Rick Witter (from Shed Seven), Tom Hingley (from Inspiral Carpets), Tony Wright (from TerrorVision), Red Ken (from Ferocious Dog), Ben Ottewell (from Gomez), Gaz Brookfield, Henshaw and many more.

Along side our main stages on the Friday and Saturday, Rotten Poetry will be out in the courtyard with a gazebo stage hosting several acts, they'll have their travelling emporium selling a range of their clothing products and vintage items and also serving hot drinks and sweet treats. Headlining our indoor stage on the Saturday, having played Whitwell twice before, we are happy to announce the return of Funke and the Two Tone Baby , a one-man mechanical alt-blues band. Previous Whitwell Festival reviews say “the STAR of the day in my view was FUNKE AND THE TWO TONE BABY. What a fantastic talent and great guy he is”. Not seen him before? Here’s your chance.

Cinematics are an atmospheric alternative rock band with a sound that seamlessly blends gritty alternative rock with introspective lyricism. Cinematics have delivered electrifying live performances at iconic venues such as the Leadmill and are making waves in the scene.
