IMPORTANT NOTICE

It has come to our attention that certain tournament organizers, who were granted permission by the JKFA, have unfortunately been found in violation of the established rules and regulations laid out by both the AIFF and JKFA. While the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) is wholeheartedly supportive of endeavors that promote football and foster events and competitions, it is of paramount importance that these endeavors uphold the safety of players and adhere to the highest standards.
We want to make it clear that we grant permission to eligible organizers who demonstrate transparency and impartiality in their operations. Regrettably, we've noticed instances where certain organizers have not fully adhered to these principles. We would like to remind everyone that we had previously cautioned tournament organizers against allowing participation from clubs that are currently involved in legal proceedings / court cases. Unfortunately, this caution has been disregarded by a few organizers.
The JKFA takes this violation seriously, as it not only sets a worrisome precedent but also undermines the authority of the All India Football Federation (AIFF). Let it be known that as per AIFF guidelines, only State/Member Associations have the mandate to grant permission for football tournaments.
District Football Associations (DAFs) do not possess the authority to do so.
We reiterate to all organizers the importance of adhering fully to the rules and regulations set forth by both AIFF and JKFA. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of granted permissions, rendering them null and void. Furthermore, we kindly request clubs from different DFAs to seek their respective DFAs permission before participating in tournaments held in other districts. Non-compliance with this requirement will result in necessary actions being taken as per the rules.

This is hereby informed to the general public that some mischievous person had posted fake news on some social media group regarding our new page and that this Official page of J&K Football Association is fake. We as the recognized body will start formal investigation against them and are going to lodge an FIR against that page today. As per the Honourable High Court order and J&K Sports Council directions there is nobody or no official in J&K Football Association as the tenure of previous body came to an end in May 2022" except Professor Bashir Ahmad Shah who is the Hon. Custodian of JKFA being the General Secretary and Mr Wasim Aslam who is the Chairman of JKFA and Election Committee / Incharge and looking after the day to day affairs and election process of all DFAs/ ZFAs of JKUT.

It is further informed that the official social media accounts of JKFA are related to J&K Football Association website in which all the DFAs/ ZFAs are going to get portal and they can register their clubs and players on that website (www.jkfa.in - under construction).

For General Body Election, All India Football Federation (AIFF) and J&K Sports council are going to appoint the Official Observers for the Elections. All Eligible Associate voters of J&K UT will cast their votes in General Body Elections to form the Council of J&K Football Association. Further, as per the constitution of AIFF/JKFA, no elected member or individual member of JKFA , DFAs/ ZFAs can be part of any other Association, Body or member of body except Olympic Association nor any parallel body is allowed to function as per the constitution of AIFF/JKFA.
