Attention all football enthusiasts in Jammu and Kashmir! ⚽
It's time to raise our voices and demand action from the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association.
It's been a year since the district bodies elections were conducted, yet the presidential elections still haven't taken place. This is unacceptable!

The association cannot be run by a few representatives for such an extended period. We need transparency, accountability, and most importantly, democratic leadership.

Implementing the one club one vote system was a step in the right direction, and now we're eager to see the results. But without conducting the presidential elections, we're left in the dark.

Let's come together and urge the JKFA to prioritize the presidential elections and ensure that our voices are heard. It's time for change, and it starts with us!

Srinagar Premier League Wrap-Up: A Reality Check!

The much-anticipated league has concluded, and we feel it's crucial to share some insights on the league's conduct. Here are a few points worth noting:

👉 Initial Praise vs. End Reality:
- At the league's commencement, JKFA, NIFF, and DFA were all singing praises for the administration.
- However, as the league unfolded, the reality deviated from the initial positive image.

👉 Selective Administration Favors:
- Certain teams seemed to enjoy undue favors, receiving everything on a silver platter as per their convenience.
- This preferential treatment led to delays in the league's completion, putting an additional burden on other teams.

👉 Time Constraints and Overlapping Assignments:
- Some teams allegedly delayed the league due to their involvement in other assignments.
- This impacted the overall schedule, causing inconvenience for the participating teams.

👉 Dual Commitments - I-League and Srinagar Premier League:
- An eyebrow-raising issue surfaced regarding players simultaneously participating in both I-League and Srinagar Premier League.
- Is it realistic for players to juggle commitments in two leagues simultaneously?

👉 NOC Requirement Discrepancy:
- DFA Srinagar enforced a No Objection Certificate (NOC) rule for players.
- However, questions arise as to why this rule wasn't applied uniformly, especially in the case of DT FC, etc whose players participated in I-League and Srinagar Premier League simultaneously.

📢 Raising Football Issues in Kashmir ⚽
It's time to shed some light on the issues plaguing football in Kashmir Here's what we've been hearing.

1️⃣ Srinagar Premier Division Teams' Struggle:
🔹 Several Srinagar Premier Division teams have voiced their concerns about the extended league time.
🔹 This decision seems to have favored a select few teams, causing the league to drag on for over 6 months!
🔹 Shockingly, teams like Maharaja and others have walked out due to these issues.

2️⃣ The JKFA Promotion vs. Reality:
🔹 JKFA may have been promoting the Srinagar Premier League as a top-tier competition, but the reality tells a different story.
🔹 Turns out, it isn't registered as a top league with AIFF, leaving players and teams in a state of confusion.

3️⃣ Srinagar Premier League - Just a Local Tournament?
🔹 Some argue that the Srinagar Premier League feels more like a local tournament than a professional league.
🔹 The question arises - how can players participate in two leagues the I-League and Srinagar Premier League simultaneously?
🔹 Many teams invested significant resources in this league, only to find it fruitless, as no Centralised Registration System (CRS) has been implemented for the players.
Who is responsible for this?

🔹 We were told that everything would change for the better, but where are the results?

Why isn't J&K able to perform better at the national level despite having players who are playing santosh since last decade. We also have players from I-league, 2nd Div.

Disappointed with Our State Team's 1-6 Santosh Trophy Loss.

Our state team's recent 1-6 loss in the Santosh Trophy match has left us deeply dissatisfied. With most players having experience in Santosh Trophy, 2nd Division, and the I-League, this performance falls far below our expectations.

We call for accountability and improvement. Someone has to come forward and take responsibility for this.

In today's Santosh Trophy match, Jammu and Kashmir played against Gujarat and unfortunately ended with a scoreline of 1-2. Although they scored one goal, they were unlucky not to score more and secure the victory.
We would like to extend our best wishes and support to the team for their upcoming matches. We are optimistic that the best version of Jammu and Kashmir will shine through in the near future.

Baramulla: In a remarkable achievement a young footballer from the Khoja Bagh area of Baramulla town in north Kashmir, Jahangir Shagoo secured a coveted spot on the Indian under-19 football team in the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) U-19 Championship.
"Under the guidance of my current coach, Shuvenda Panda, I represented my country in the SAFF U-19 Men's Championship in Nepal," he said.

Jahangir also expressed his gratitude towards the All India Football Federation (AIFF), the Odisha government for their support, and the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council for nurturing his talent.

He also acknowledged the unwavering support of individuals like Coach Muzamil Mahmood, Salman Mir, and Burhan Amin in his football journey.

However, Jahangir reserves a special place of gratitude for his family, who stood by him through thick and thin. "I am thankful to my father and mother," he expressed with heartfelt appreciation.

The Santosh Trophy fixture for the current season has already been unveiled, and it's disheartening to see that our team is yet to be finalized. ⏳ This delay is concerning as it hampers the team's preparation for the prestigious tournament.

It's worth noting that this isn't a one-time occurrence; it seems to be an ongoing issue every year, even with the new Association in place. 🔄 We all know what remains the performance of J&K team in the santosh due to this mismanagement and delays.

This also raises questions and concerns among the football community regarding transparency, fairness, and efficiency in the selection process.

Their abrupt statement declaring these trails as unauthorized, mere hours before the scheduled date, raises significant concerns. If JKFA had legitimate reasons to question the legality of these trials, it begs the question why they didn't address these concerns days in advance, allowing aspiring footballers to prepare accordingly.
Furthermore, it is imperative that JKFA provides a clear and comprehensive clarification regarding the club's post and the subsequent decision to label the trials as unauthorized. This is especially crucial as the team conducting these trials was not only offering a chance for players to showcase their skills but also providing potential salary and scholarship opportunities. Such opportunities hold significant importance for aspiring talents, and it is unfair to undermine them without proper justification.
The football community deserves transparency and fairness from governing bodies like JKFA, and this incident highlights the need for greater accountability and communication in such matters.

While it's crucial to maintain a fair and balanced perspective, it's equally important to appreciate the role of JKFA in ensuring the integrity of football trials. If there are concerns or potential fraud associated with these trials, we appreciate JKFA's diligence in safeguarding the sport's credibility.
In light of these events, we kindly request authorities of to provide a detailed explanation for the decision to label these trials as unauthorized. We strongly advise all players to refrain from attending unauthorized trials conducted by Kashmir DK Off Shots FC. Your safety and career prospects are our top priority, and we cannot guarantee the legitimacy of such trials.
