The girls have been super busy picking sunflowers for the markets this weekend. First stop Franklin Market at Pukekohe tomorrow then Avondale Market on Sunday. Hope to see lots of you there 😀

Attention Photographers!!!!!!
We will be opening the winter sunflower fields up again to the public in about a week or so.
If you are wanting a awesome backdrop for your family shoots get in touch as we can organize to accommodate some dates before the main opening.

Couldnt believe my eyes when we went to check on the poppy block. We turn around and see the sunflowers have popped back up in the front paddock again after being powerharrowed a month ago. Those pesky pigeons obviously didnt manage to eat all the seed heads.
They are looking incredible so fingers crossed 🤞 we may have a Sunflower 🌻 field in May! 💛🌻🥳

Nipped out near the very end of the day to grab a few pics.

IMPORTANT UPDATE.........WAITANGI DAY
Yes today we are open all day! Weather is amazing, customers are already here!
Remember..........
*Sunscreen.
*Secateurs if cutting your own (we do hire some if you dont have any but numbers are limited)
*Lunch/Picnic.
*Bucket or container to take flowers home in.
*Yes there are bees that are gentle, and amazing to watch at work.
Real Fruit Icecream will be here from 10am to 4 pm.

The Roaming Berry will be back this afternoon from around 2.30/3pmish.
They will also be here Waitangi Day so pop on over for a yummy real fruit icecream and visit some of the last of the seasons sunflowers open days!

Its looking amazing in the sky today! Come on down and get some beautiful Gelato while enjoying some of the last days of the sunflower season! Dont miss out. Remember sunscreen, bucket for taking flowers home, secateurs to cut flowers and a beautiful lunch to eat among the flowers.

The weather is good, the early customers are out enjoying the morning. The kids hunt items are out there hiding waiting to be marked on your maps.
The Fabbyluscious team are here with the yummy Gelato and Sorbet.
Its looking like the last week (will be reassessing daily) of sunflowers so dont miss out and head on over before they are all gone.

Kids tomorrow is for you! Not only is there the wonderful Abby Rivendell from Fabbyluscious but the girls have made a search and find map! There are items hidden in the 2ha of sunflowers, find where they are hidden and mark on the map. Show us at the end for a small prize. Make the last day before school a fun one!

The lovely old derelict homestead next-door that many took photos of during the sunflower visits unfortunately was lit on fire tonight.😪 Thanks to the many local firefighters that stopped it spreading into our place ❤️
Thousands of sunflowers are left for you to pick today 10am-2pm before they get mulched back into the soil. I went down earlier this morning to get a couple of pics and it looks amazing with so many to pick. REMEMBER YOUR OWN CUTTERS No entry fee but everyone entering MUST PURCHASE Sunflowers $3 each that they have picked on way out.

Head over between 10am-2pm Sunday 18th Feb. The open days are finished so not suitable for photo taking but plenty of flowers to pick still.
