We had a great get-together at the Ricc Horticultural Society tonight. A passionate lot of people who Share their tips about growing flowers +Vegies. Great guest speakers and we always learn about extra gardening tips. We all shared our FAV flowers.A nice first class win for Jan +myself,sharing our gorgeous,fragrant Margaret Merril, Rose..A fun night, enjoyed the raffles and the wide selection of plants we could purchase.Tnks 4-an awesome nite🌹🌈

An upward lightning bolt has been captured from Mahurangi, leaping above an anvil cloud during a recent thunderstorm over the Hauraki Gulf. This is unlike a normal ‘anvil crawler’ that would crawl on the underside of the cloud. Thanks and credit to Grant Birley for sharing.

VIVID. I don’t really have words to describe just how mind-blowing it was to see the sky go crazy a whole hour before sunrise, I have dreamed of a sunrise like this at Moeraki but never expected it to actually happen. And there is no added saturation to the colour in the image - this is just as captured with a few tonal adjustments to better see the lights and darks - Nature sure came to the party!
