Another photo taken in 2021, I photographed this Red-billed gull around the Riverside Market in Christchurch, New Zealand. Many of these birds are opportunists and will swoop in to steal someone's lunch. Photo taken with the Olympus OM-D E-M10IV with M. Zuiko 14-150mm f/4-5.6 II.

Looking back at my older photos from 2021, I have noticed a few street photographs I have taken of some birds in Christchurch, New Zealand. If I remember, this photo was taken with the Olympus OM-D E-M10iv with the M. Zuiko 14-150mm f/4-5.6 II.

Photographed a sparrow at Godley Head back in November, 2023. Camera of choice was the Nikon Z5 with the Pentax SMC 100-300 f/4.7-5.8. Hard to remember the focal length and f-stop as I used a standard Pentax K to Nikon Z adapter that has no electronic connections.

Last week, my partner and I have decided to visit Akaroa, New Zealand. The last time I visited Akaroa was in January 2011 (a month before the Christchurch earthquake). It is a french influenced town with beautiful scenes within the Banks Peninsula. Further out you can see Hector Dolphins, and Black Cat Cruises offers boat rides to visit them. On this trip, I brought my Lumix LX100ii to take photos and I recorded this adventure with my Olympus Tough TG-6.
