Between 2006 and 2007, Depeche Mode re-released their first 10 albums (from 1981's "Speak & Spell" to 2001's "Exciter") as individual "Collector's Edition" versions. These included a bonus DVD containing Dolby Digital versions of the original album, bonus material relevant to the album (such as B-sides and live performances), plus a short documentary talking about the album.

Below is a playlist (made by someone else) with all of the documentary videos featured on the 10 re-released albums. Most of them are an average of about half an hour each, but there are a few that go longer than that. Either way, you'll get a few hours of informative entertainment out of it. :)

A couple fun facts for you that you may not yet know...

The first one I found out some time ago. Tom Kenny (the voice of SpongeBob SquarePants) and Jill Talley (the voice of Karen Plankton from the same TV series) are actually married in real life. :)

Fun fact #2 is something I just found out tonight. Tom and Jill were also the couple you see in the music video for "Tonight, Tonight" by The Smashing Pumpkins. Seems the 2 had already worked together under the sea before SpongeBob came along (re: 3 minutes into the music video).

Even though the debut single ("Neverending Love") came out in July '86, today marks 37 years of Roxette albums. It was mostly available in Sweden initially (maybe a few neighbouring countries as well?), which is why the world hadn't heard of them prior to 1989 when "The Look" entered the world arena.

This album had 4 singles - "Neverending Love", "Goodbye to You", "Soul Deep" and "I Call Your Name" - released in 1986 and '87. The original album didn't have "The First Album" printed along the top like this image does. That wouldn't appear until 1997 when it was re-released with extra tracks added (this version would be the one I would eventually get a copy of).

I highly recommend this one, and I'm not just being biased either. :)
