Last Friday we had the pleasure of catering The Summit Real Estate Annual Awards where 180 guests enjoyed canapés and glasses of bubbles while mingling
They later dined on delicious beef cheeks, stuff chicken roulade, vegetable dishes and salads. Finished off with a beautiful dessert platter.

Crazy busy week at Beachside Nelson Conference & Events Centre

Carpark was full and so were the conference rooms with Ministry of Education and the following day NIWA New Zealand
Some delicious catering (brain food) was served for all the delegates, to keep them focused throughout the day.

Blue Economy Innovation Summit
The poor weather didn't put off the 160 delegates enjoying a full day of speakers,collaboration pathways & building networks.
A full day of conferencing deserves a well nourished lunch and we provided Beef, Chicken, Salmon and Vegetarian Buddha bowls.

Delighted to once again be asked to cater the Marchfest food and craft beer matching lunch held today at Founders. Four courses with a beer to match each course. Voted the best dish was NZ Pearl Veal tenderloin with beets two ways, mushrooms and potato gratin. .

A beautiful evening celebrating the Wedding of A&R
From the table settings to the catering the evening was perfect. The guests had a plated meal consisting of a tender stuffed chicken breast and melt in your mouth beef sirloin finished off with a plated dessert.

Tonight we had the pleasure of catering the Nelson Tasman Chamber of Commerce 34th Business Awards. The menu was designed by my head chef Corina three courses plated to the 330 guests. How awesome is this chocolate brownie tower here at Gourmet Catering we do our best to bring your ideas to life. When I got the call from this client asking for a chocolate brownie tower my head chef was on leave knowing how creative my kitchen team are our second chef said no problem we can do that and here’s the end result. Very lucky with the team I have always up for a new challenge wedding season is in full swing.

A hot but very beautiful setting for the wedding of G and R yesterday at a private property in the Moutere. The theme for this wedding was small bites rather than a sit down meal for the 200 guests. A wonderful celebration and amazing food created by Corina and Ellie. Dates are filling up for 2024/2025 so if you would like our team to cater your wedding get in touch.

A beautiful day for our first wedding for the year congratulations Z and C and thank you for choosing us to cater for you. Guests enjoyed a seafood feast including whitebait, pāua patties and crayfish and the grooms favourite roast lamb, accompanied by a salad selection followed by petite 4 desserts.

How talented is my head chef ? Most weeks she creates grazing tables and every week I get a video of her finished creation. Today she totally blew it out of the park with this table for the Stoke volunteer Fire brigade function.

It’s a very sad week for us as we say goodbye to our front of house manager Fran as she embarks on a year long overseas adventure. Personally I feel like my right arm has been cut off she is the most caring, hardworking, fun, kind, compassionate but most of all loyal person I have ever employed. We have already started counting the days till your return Fran. As a team we wish you a wonderful holiday and will keep the wheels turning until your return.

A very special life celebration today for a well respected local businessman, the brief was elegant and no traditional funeral food. Fran and Corina did a lovely job of creating these gorgeous grazing tables .

Winding down to the last of our weddings for the season. This weekend we have two to cater for. Today’s couple wanted an informal grazing table with enough food that would keep their guests satisfied.
