Hey everyone, it's been a quiet winter here at Hidden truffle but I managed to watch the sun set from my office just recently. Hot, fresh canapes for a private function. That's the benefit of having your own mobile kitchen to produce stunning food in any location. As usual I was too busy putting canapes together I forgot to take photos of the canapes. We still have a few spaces left for 24/25 wedding season so get in touch if you or someone you know is looking for a private chef or catering for their wedding day

We were so grateful to be returning to a private residence in Pyes Pa to cater for Lucy and Quinn's big day. We had the pleasure of catering for another family members wedding at the same venue back in 2022. The best compliment is to have returning customers, word of mouth is what we thrive for.
Congratulations Lucy and Quinn on such a beautiful day and thank you so much for coming back to us, it was so nice to see your family again and witness your special day.

Congratulations to Karl and Savanna on a beautiful day yesterday.
Having a fully mobile kitchen means that we can cater at all sorts, for Karl and Savanna that meant we could cater for them at their house in Paengaroa.
They started their day off with a grazing table for the guests which included chicken dukkah balls canapes followed by a family style buffet.
It was an amazing day and we were lucky that the rainy weather held off for most of the evening.

A little (or alot) of rain doesn't stop us from making amazing food.
We have started the 2024 wedding season off with a hiss and a roar with two back to back weddings.

Another great collaboration between the and to celebrate the marriage of Angela and Phillip with their friends and family. A huge congratulations to you both and we thank you for having us there to play a huge part of your day. Once again I got too busy to stop and take pics of the family style dinner but the grazing table got lots of compliments. As always my team did an amazing job working with the team from Black walnut. Thank you to all involved in making the day run smooth and we wish the Ange and Phil years of happy marriage.

First time at Ebony Vines Wedding Venue in Maketu last night, I have to say well done for designing a one of a kind wedding venue where there is plenty of room inside and amazing outdoor area for the ceremony. All we can say is the food was WOW, it has certainly been a highlight with so many guests commenting it was the best they’ve had at a wedding.

Busy week for Hidden Truffle Catering, starting with a Wedding on Thursday at Ataahua wedding Venue, a 21st birthday up Pyes Pa on Saturday night and back to Ataahua today for an intimate afternoon wedding.
Thank you to everyone we meet this week and congratulations to the Bride and Grooms we help make their day special by providing them with great food to share with great company.
