Proposal at Rosewood with the Hanuman monkey delivering the ring
Sharing one of the most romantic and lovely proposals we've planned at Rosewood Phuket with you all today.
Kenneth wanted to ask his girlfriend Haley to marry him in a unique and romantic way during their holiday in Phuket. Thai Do planned a whole day for them. First they were taken to the old town. And the driver waited for them as they roamed around Phuket Old Town seeings art galleries, cafes, Sino-style buildings and wall murals. Then they went for a couple spa before heading to Raya Restaurant for lunch.
The couple were staying at the beautiful luxury resort Rosewood. When they arrived back the hair and make-up artist gave Haley a new style for the photo shoot around the beautiful resort.
After an hour of photos the photographer suggested going to Ta Khai Restaurant at Rosewood Phuket for some photos. This is my favorite restaurant in all of Phuket at the moment. It's such a beautiful place with a lovely atmosphere. The traditional buildings are gorgeous and the chefs take the herbs from the garden right near the tables. They will take reservations for outside guests so if you are wanting to have a special dinner in Phuket it's the place to go.The couple were greeted by Thai traditional dancers and had a drink at sunset. Then the Hanuman monkey performance started with the monkey and the girl dancing playfully and interacting with the couple.
At the end of the high-energy performance the Hanuman monkey handed Kenneth the ring box. As planned he lead his wife-to-be to the wooden decking and asked her to marry him. She said yes!After that more photos and video continued and everyone finally left so the couple could enjoy a intimate dinner and the excitement of the new life ahead.This proposal is a perfect example of how culture and tradition can tie in with romance in a very lovely and meaningful way.
