Our second year at the house was 2017 and we added a few touches with a projector and some skeletons climbing the house!

Just wanted to show the progression of our decor since we bought the house in August 2016. This was our first Halloween. Not much to look at but, we just got the place and were still unpacking and making it our own.

Just a few of our new additions for this year! We're planning on 8 individual scenes in our homehaunt/walk-through. Our guests will experience a haunted graveyard full of creepy skeletons and soul-snatching reapers! Next they'll see our undead pirates aboard their ship, guarding their horde!! If our spooksters feel up to it from there, they can go further into our Zombie invasion area, CarnEvil, DecayCare, Aracniphobia, RottenPatch/CornMaze and finally into the ButcherShop before exiting down our driveway and to their safety. We will have full sized treats (please limit 1 per person) for all who attend. We're also planning on being part of Rotterdam's Fireball Run which will supply adults with a shot sized bottle of Fireball Whiskey if they would like it. We are also planning on joining the Amsterdam Halloween Parade as well! We hope to see you all there!!

We had a few set backs this year at our yard haunt. We wanted the walk-through to wrap around the house but, we opted to do this instead. Between 25 free pallets, (12) 10' half inch pvc pipe, (2) rolls of landscape fabric, 1 roll of black plastic sheeting, 20 bales of hay from my friendEric Holt's farm in Broadalbin, 150 corn stalks from Perry's Farm in Broadalbin, a handful of extension cords, and a LOT of hard work, it really didn't cost a lot. We had more than 300 guests and many walked through more than once!

We upgraded the Home Depot 21 inch grimacing LED jack o lantern using a flame effect bulb, an external hanging light socket, hook, glue, and aluminum foil to help reflect light inside. I saw a video on this and it was quite easy.
