A gold medalist during1989-90, from Rajasthan University, Aparna obtained masters degree in Kathak, and Foods & nutrition. During 1993-98, Aparna was professor of Dance at Rajasthan university, Banasthali Vidhyapeeth, and Modi Institue of Education & Research. Aparna is also a registered and licensed Dietitian in the USA. An international kathak perfomer, Aparna continued her passion for dance by

opening Kathak dance school in Atlanta in the year 2001. Since its beginning in the year 2001, Aparna’s Dance Academy has committed itself to providing HIGH QUALITY dance education. We are continuing the centuries old tradition of providing DANCE EDUCATION, with classical Kathak as our core curriculum. Our programs are educational and filled with fun.
