I had the honor of capturing a truly special milestone recently – the 30th anniversary of a wonderful couple, Gabriel & Lisette. Their love story is a beautiful testament to the power of commitment, laughter, and shared dreams.

I asked Gabriel and Lisette what’s the secret to a long and successful marriage. Lisette jokingly replied “well lots of love, forgiveness but honestly I tolerate him, lol”. Gabriel replied, “if you find a love where you can truly be yourself (all personalities lol), you’re respected, valued and honored- that’s your person. This thing called life has its ups and downs but the connection you have with the person you marry should have a strong foundation and you gotta have patience. God is patient with you so you should be patient with your mate because none of us are perfect. Most of all have fun. We do things together. She’s my best friend and I love her unconditionally.”

When Olivia asked for me to take her family photos, I was so happy. After all, who would not want to spend their lifetime with their soulmate?! Heyyy. My name is Rika, and I strive to capture the depth and meaning of how you feel for each other as well as your guests experience.
Couples - If you’re looking to propose soon, contact me but here are some examples of how you can say I love you and capture the moment w/ the help of
1) Buy a gift card that says “I love like …”
2) Order their favorite meal from their favorite restaurant and have it waiting when they come home OR you can cook it for them
3) Use your fur baby as a personal messenger! Any message of affection can be added to a personal item to tie on them just as was shown in these engagement photos
