It is with great sadness that the EPS team shares the sudden passing of John Lotshaw, who was one of our talented animators and video editors. We are still in shock that he is gone. John passed away Friday morning, while with family over the holiday weekend. For those in the industry and have had the pleasure of knowing him, we wanted to give the respect to family and close friends before posting.

John was a force, and an amazing person all around. He was so creative and always had a positive outlook on all the crazy projects and animations we threw his way, and was right there in the trenches with us for everything.

We are going to miss our Seinfeld, Star Trek, Star Wars, and many many movie and TV conversations.

We will miss you greatly John. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

EPS is proud to announce that we are the production partner for this years Stuff the Train Toy Drive. It was such a great experience last year, and we are excited to be a part of it again this year! We are so grateful to partner with the Greater Chesapeake Charitable Foundation (GCCF), the United Way of Central Maryland, the B&O Railroad Museum, and DJ Kopec again!

Stuff the Train benefits children of all ages from across Maryland and the DC area. Many of these children would have a much different holiday experience if it weren’t for the generous donations received from this toy drive. It was so rewarding to see all the smiling faces last year, and to bring joy to so many children across the area.

Our goal again is 20,000 toys. We surpassed this goal last year by 10,000 toys, and hope to surpass it even more this year.

Wow! What a great week for the EPS Team. We successfully completed not 1, but 2 in-person events this past week. Both for great causes here in the Baltimore/ DC Metro Area. First up was the Ulman Foundation Blue Jeans & Bow Ties Ball. What an amazing cause, and they exceeded their fundraising goals for the evening. Second was Center for Adoption Support and Education Hybrid Annual Gala (simultaneous live and virtual event), celebrating the strength of adoptive, foster, and kinship families, with a special appearance from and a beautiful message from . This one was especially large for the EPS Team seeing that we had to not only engage and entertain their in-person audience, but also engage and entertain their at home audience. We did split programming, ensuring that the at home audience was engaged and programming continued even when dinner was being served for our in-person guests. C.A.S.E. also exceeded their fundraising goals for the evening by almost double! Successful events all around for the EPS Team. Thank you to the Ulman Foundation and C.A.S.E. for trusting us with your producing and production needs.
