Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Golden Gloves of America, Inc. to provide an activity and safe environment that promotes and enhances the physical and emotional well-being and social development of young athletes; develops individual athletic skills, work ethic, discipline, sportsmanship, self-respect and pride; and provides entertainment to citizens of the community. In seeking to fulf

ill its mission, the Golden Gloves of America, Inc. has thirty franchises which sponsor hundreds of programs competing in local and regional tournaments throughout the United States and in a National Tournament of Champions each year. Oregon hosts it's State Golden Gloves each year in January and as it grows each year, we see many young boxers from Oregon and Pacific North West go on to make a name for themselves. Oregon is one of the only States who awards a GOLDEN GIRL & GOLDEN BOY award.

We leave tomorrow along with Team Oregon for the 100th Anniversary of the National Golden Gloves Championships in Philadelphia. Kevin is on and ready to go. Training camp went well and we wanted to thank everyone that contributed to his journey. Sparring partners, contributions, support and fans friends and family that cheered him on.
