So, the Co-Founder of HOLI was cleaning out a shelf of old paperwork etc and found something that's honestly HOLI history. An Original copy of the MAP well before it came to Facebook and we had to make hundreds of these photocopies to hand out!

THIS is how HOLI started. A hand drawn Map that was photocopied over an over again, adjustments made, edits made, re-photocopied, and distributed the old school way.

As we've stated before, the MAP is no longer updated or new houses being added. Thank the Entitled, Rude, Overly Bossy Karens that made the Creator of H.O.L.I. absolutely miserable.

So sorry to all who did enjoy the MAP and the yearly updates. It was fun for a long time, but the "Entitled" Era RUINED IT.

The page will stay UP, and NEW HAUNTS are adding their houses in POSTS they are making on the page. So, the page isn't "dead" it's just changed a bit where we are allowing home owners to post their haunts, and their info for you on the page.

The Creator of H.O.L.I. is no longer actively going out, seeking new houses, checking out submissions, etc etc etc. For all the work he put in each Sept into Oct, combined with the level the disrespect of the Entitled Era became, enough was enough. F them in short.

People demanding that Live Actors leave their kid alone...
People demanding to make a Google maps version of the MAP...
People demanding better candy and freebies at Home Haunts....
People complaining they didn't like a house and wasted gas...
And lastly people thinking H.O.L.I. actually runs and sets up all these houses.

That's a small list of examples of how they ruined it for all of you.

No, we are no longer adding new haunts to the MAP, it is only up so you can find the existing houses. If the creator of HOLI decides to add something that's on him, but we do not take submissions any longer. Sorry.

No, there is no google maps version and won't be one.

Look at the MAP to see what's in Nassau Suffolk. That's what the MAP is for.

No, we have no control over a Haunt having live actors. If your kids are afraid DON'T TAKE THEM! Its not our fault if you use bad judgement or thought it would be funny to traumatize your kid.

No, no one is getting paid to keep this page up for people to enjoy, so PLEASE, think of that before you PM us with a list of demands.

We have no association with The Shipwreck Cove Haunt. We do not advertise it and remove ALL comments about it. Repeat offenders are banned from the page. There was a falling out with them and we avoid them and let them do their own thing but do not advertise them, and won't, so please be mindful of that when posting to the page.

Anyone promoting or posting about the Pirate House known as Shipwreck Cove will be removed from the page immediately and the post removed.
The home owner is no longer a part of HOLI. He has been banned from HOLI permanently .

We aren't actively adding houses to the MAP. If the creator of HOLI decides to add something it is at his discretion and it's barely been done.

ALSO we've received many questions about locations of Haunts. PLEASE see the MAP for what's where, Nassau or Suffolk.
