I’m rescuing 200 white homing pigeon BREEDERS. These birds will have to be captives, they can not normally be trained to a new home.
If let to fly they will try to fly home to Memphis, where their loft will no longer be standing.

These are beautiful healthy birds, and will easily raise lots of young ones you can fly this spring.

In five weeks he will be ready to start flying.

New white ringneck doves for display only.
These sweet little birds cannot be released, as they have no homing or survival instincts.
These are very different from their larger cousins, the Rock Doves, which are released and easily travel within our release area back to their comfy home.

How about to kick off a large event, at the singing of the National Anthem or at any other time?
I have a white dove release service in Bartow County. My trained snow white birds are released and usually circle the crowd several times before departing. Once they leave the area, they head back to their comfy house (yes, they have their own house in my yard)

We were pleased to offer baskets of doves for 12 agencies involved in the crime victims rights release this week at the courthouse
Each agency had a representative pick a basket to release.

The Victim Assistance Unit of the District Attorney's office in the Cherokee Judicial Circuit cordially invites you to attend an event commemorating National Crime Victims' Rights Week.

When: Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 12:00 Noon

Where: The Crime Victims Monument at the Frank Moore Administration Building - 135 West Cherokee Ave, Cartersville

What: an event to honor crime victims, increase public awareness and recognize agencies in our community who serve crime victims.
Who: Bartow County Sheriff's Office-Honor Guard; A Proclamation signing by Commissioner Steve Taylor and Mayor Matt Santini; Guest Speaker Sandy Templeton, Founding Director of the Victim Assistance Unit; A ceremonial live dove release by “Feathers Aloft”; Special music by BCSO's Sgt. Todd Roberts

Why: Each April, communities throughout the country observe National Crime Victims' Rights Week (NCVRW) by promoting victims' rights and honoring crime victims and those who advocate on their behalf. In 2014, NCVRW will be observed April 6 -12, 2014 and the theme is "30 Years: Restoring the Balance of Justice."
