Ushers Ferry Historic Village Located on a beautiful 10 acre site in Seminole Valley, Ushers Ferry now features a dozen historic buildings that have been restored since the 2008 flood.

Ushers Ferry Historic Village provides the citizens of Cedar Rapids and Eastern Iowa with a venue for family friendly events and programs that build community from the historical perspective of a small Iowa town at the turn of the 20th Century. The buildings are open to tour Monday-Friday, 9:00 - a.m. - 3:00 p.m. June-August. The village holds office hours 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday throughout the year. Visitors are welcome to walk the grounds during the off-season.

Due to city road construction Seminole Valley Trail is closed from Seminole Valley Road on Thursday, July 6th to Friday, July 7th. You can reach Ushers Ferry by taking Ushers Ridge Drive from Seminole Valley Road. Turn left, onto River Parkway, and continue to Seminole Valley Trail. Turn left at Seminole Valley Trail and you can reach the main gates of Ushers Ferry.
