Meet John Wassil & his beautiful better half, Ashley! John has been in the industry for way more years than his baby face admits. While recently he’s been best known for bringing pierogis to the local food truck scene he’s actually done everything from casual —> super fine dining, been featured in cookbooks and he’s competed on the Food Network.
His classic training has led him to creating a melting pot mashup of cuisine fusion that highlights the freshest ingredients that local sources have to offer.
While reservations are recommended they are not required and a BYOB of your favorite libation is encouraged.
The Maddie Ann’s Kitchen & Catering team cannot wait to tickle your tastebuds!

We are over the moon to have John Wassil chef and owner of Maddie Ann’s Kitchen be our first open vendor!
YOU’RE going to be over the moon when you get to indulge in his incredible fare! Fresh, locally sourced ingredients prepared by a culinary genius! He happens to be a really fabulous guy to boot!
Cheers John, Ashley and the rest of the family on this new adventure and cheers to US as he will be open for reservations soon! They got all of their stamps and greenlights today and boy are we excited!!

It was a gorgeous evening for @chambersburg_rotary to come out and celebrate what Rotarians do best. We’re fortunate to have a local chapter here in the ‘Burg! @maddieannskitchen knocked it out of the park with a delicious dinner including their famous pierogis and @bergbeerco did not disappoint with pourings of two signature brews. Many congratulations to Theresa DiLoreto and Wes Fugate on their respective recognitions! We are thankful to the beautiful people serving in Rotary Club of Chambersburg for being a vital part of our community!!

Can we talk about last night?? The Millso Commons family & friends gathered together for a private tasting by the amazing John Wassil of Maddie Ann’s Perogies & Kitchen. Course after course, John tantalized our senses. From the pops of color in each dish…to the most incredible aromas…to getting to savor the explosion of flavor of each delectable bite he continued to wow us from forks up to forks down. There aren’t words to fully describe how proud we are of this guy! Congratulations, Maddie Anne’s Kitchen and thank you for a most delightful evening. We are counting the days til your soft opening…Chambersburg is going to love you!!
